I can't get over how amazing the total eclipse is, only seen it once when I was very little and the only thing I remember is me looking through this tinted glass, proves how amazed I was if this is the only thing I remember of that day after such a long time, nature now is like my second home, I'll be watching sunrise, sunset, moon rise, moon set, appearing or fading stars, but I don't think I'll ever see this again
What I love most about this video is that by showing the surroundings, the viewer has something familiar to connect with -- it's like you're actually standing there watching it for yourself. So many other videos are zoomed in to show detail of the corona, but I feel it's just as amazing to watch the changes in the sky and landscape as the lunar shadow sweeps past. Absolutely incredible, can't wait to see one myself.
Great music by the way, really adds to the surreality of the scene. :)
The eclipse itself is not as visible as you expect, but the way your camera captures the phenomena on nature (the eclipse itself and the emptyness of the Mongolian land- the less populated country in the world), and the way the music invites to a reflection of our condition as human beings, makes this video a true work of art....
wow its like the best solar eclipse video on Youtube but only 5k views? and there are some stupid cloudy, crowd screaming videos has almost 1 mil views thats just dumb!
can you imagine what people in olden times must have thought if for by chance one day the sun just got dim and sat in the sky covered by a disk that slowly moved on its way. no wonder people believed in god back then.
This is the most amazing eclipse video I've ever seen. No screaming crowd, not a cloud and thank you for not having moved the camera throughout the whole eclipse.
Great combination of video and music to capture the mood. It's been way too long (30 years almost to the day) since I've stood in the shadow of the moon. When you're there in person, you never, ever, ever forget the experience. Those streamers from the corona go way farther out than any photo (even the photoshop enhanced ones) can ever show. Wish I was there with you.
You gotta post the song and artist information.......
Thank you very much for your appreciation! I can confirm that the location and the eclipse were very exhotic and hypnotic, the best spectacle I have ever seen!
incredible !

Excellent. Only ther's a few videos that shows the eclipsed sun and landscape at same time. Nice shoot, congratulations.

Great film, although I'm worried for your videocamera because you shot the sun without protection before and after totality.
How did you prevent the people from walking in front of the camera?
I watched the eclipse with a group in Altai Soum, a small village close to the Chinese Border, about 80 km south of Bulgan in Khovd.
Where did you shoot this?
(Maybe Youtube should add google earth tagging.)

Thank you for your appreciations.
I was few km far from Bulgan. I was alone on top of an hill, this is how I prevented people walking in front of the camera :-)
