Great version and I think I might even prefer this to Eric,s! Thanks for writing the chords ...been trying to find Bibb tabs and tunings but no luck. I agre with others about the dischordant G ...it doesn.t sit with the reat of the song ...?..or maybe I need to get used to it.

awesome job! im a beginner guitar player. huge fan of mr bibb's.  would love to know the chords to this song if u have them. standard tuning is it? thanks a lot and again, great job!

First I must explain that Eric Bibb plays this quite different.I play C down to Am using a B base in between to G for line 1. F all through line 2. Line 3 is a repeat of line 1.line 4 is the same .Line 5 is F to D7. Then C to F and end the verse with the discordant G sharp ( F shape at 4th fret with 1st string open )back to G ( F at 3rd fret) played twice and resolve back to C. I have one word wrong - its Miami not Marianne.I was just testing the equipment for this video suite so not my best!
