My new iPhone came back, works great BUT AT&T's service in my rural area STINKS. Their equipment frequently goes down. They have reliable service in large towns, but in rural populations (especially where I live) their performance is LACKLUSTER. On my Cingular phone, I am now getting NO SERVICE.
I plan on making a new video with an AT&T GoPhone to show how bad their reliability is... STAY TUNED.
Looks like my iPhone 3G. I thought at first it might be AT&T's network, because I ported from Verizon and had perfect reception all the time. But now I think it's the phone because even when I'm RIGHT NEXT to a tower, my phone will fluctuate in bars. WTF!?
just because there is a tower dosent mean it has att nodes on it.

It is a tower that AT&T leases space on and this tower is identified on the AT&T website as the service link for this area.
