@512thc I haven't read the complete version of the manga, but even though on the anime they show Takumi to be extremely selfish, the manga also shows a caring side. Even though I am not happy with the fact that Nana K. married Takumi after I watching the anime I noticed that the author didn't just focus on both Nanas but gave life to every single character, including Takumi.

@512thc you misunderstood my reply. I am not defending any of the characters. Im just showing you that the author wanted to reflect how anyone can change their lives by making different choices. I think the author wanted to show that in the end everyone is selfish in their own way.

I wanted as much as you for Nana to end up with Nobu, but Nana K probably loved Nobu too much to feel that she deserved him or thought shed ruin his life by being with him while having someone else's child or was selfish not for her maybe but for her child to have a better life. There's so many assumptions we could make. I guess we won't know for sure.

@512thc Takumi besides being selfish is a person that knows what he wants and won't let anything get in the way, and even though he manipulated Nana K into marrying him while she was weak she also had a choice. she chose a better life for her and her child. She probably loved both Nobu and Takumi but had her reasons to be with Takumi. In the end she made that decision.

I'm a guy and I've only read the first volume, and I love it. It's funny, pretty acurate to teenage lifestyle, and just all around good. It's definitley above the "teen" shows we get or even other teen anime. Heck, I'd go so far as to put it in the same league as the fantasy and sci-fi genre the big animes are like Soul Eater and Wolf's Rain.

i enjoyed this anime, until hachi started making stupid decisions and ruining everybody's lives around her by doing that. usually i don't mind people making mistakes, but the mistakes Hachi made were too big to ignore and even though this is a great anime, it turned me away from it.

I think I love Nana the most, but only because I see too much of myself in Hachi. Of course, she's there to give the audience someone more real to relate to, and there almost wouldn't be a story if not for her constant development and maturation.
