Just saw her play an aging prostitute in 1927's "Tragedy of the Street" last night at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.  The dance in this clip must've knocked peoples' socks off in 1910. She went on to a stellar career, at one point actually playing a female Hamlet who disguises herself as a man in a lavish 1920 screen version of Shakespeare's play, and it wasn't a comedy and got good reviews.
