This song has nothing to do with alcoholism. Lethe - River of the Underworld representing Forgetfulness. It was believed that once one would drink "the fluid" they would forget their past lived and could pass on to their next reincarnation cycle, their new life. The song is about the desire of scars, metal scars, things you will have to live with for the rest of your life, and this desire to forget these things but just can't... Personally I think its love lost being the lyrics.

i saw them on feb 4th the very start of the us tour and they were pretty sick live they played from what i can remember... Terminius, The Lesser Faith, Dream oblivion, Black Noise White Silence and Final Resistance :) have fun and let people know it (killswitch fans wer just standing around)

Yes, it is good to hear that he can still pull it off. There's to much versions where his voice is just fucked up :/ Allthough I would bet that this is at the max capacity for him. Sounds like alot of strain to his vocal chords... I suppose that the technique he used for the album "The Gallery" is lost. Maybe that technique of growling was a dead end for him in the long run.
