Sorry if I'm just another "mainstream" non-hipster indie fan and just don't "get" how good they are.

I do get that the music, while still ok, is not really great. Victorious Secrets totally outclasses them, and so do The Poets Dance, and the lead singer is whiny and irritating.

I don't like Kesha, Gaga, Beiber, etc., but I guess not liking bands with such fashionable members makes me mainstream and unable to understand them.

I really love these guys. Shame that they didn't win but I Love Monsters and The Victorious Secrets are great bands. I am glad that this commercial showed some unknown artists because if they didn't I never would have know about either of them.
