People often tend to take the beauty of the cosmos for granted, for example Halleys Comet. It's as if some people have lost the ability to appreciate looking up into the night sky.

The ancients had ningothing better to do than gaze up at the stars, they were the true pioneers of astronomy. It's quite different in today's world. Now the atmosphere is clouded with pollution and seldom eyes tend to look upward to the sky.
