All of the ie9 demos are fake. They bottleneck the demo when they detect you are on a different user agent. How about you make a real browser, microsoft?
Hell yeah. But on my old AMD 1,8 Ghz single core i achieved astronomical average of 24 FPS in Chrome and 23 FPS in Opera on 1680x1050 when i was fading through 2 HD wallpapers using pure JS and CSS opacity. I don't know who's written these demos, but he had to be from M$. So in reality... Chrome + AMD 1x1,8 = IE9 + 480GTX
@woocushpl This is HTML5, notice you see no developers complaining about this like you are because we can easily view the code source, it's not optimized for any browsers just html5, so shutup and stop complaining, Microsoft is smart enough to use unbiased tests or else developer critics would be all over them. IE9 beats all other browsers in GPU acceleration and in speed.
@hex1987 For me I found the preview version of IE9 faster than that Firefox. It might be because of the lack of GUI but of well, we'll see when both of them will hit the releasable versions.
People who think browsers other than IE9 are running smoothly with these demos, it because you have a good CPU and that is all. Get a lower-end computer and see the difference. On the other hand, most computers today supports graphics and hardware acceleration. So IE9 rocks!
@mkr10001 not true ... the idea is simple ... html5 in ie9 will be rendered on the graphics card ... other browsers will render through the software ..... so the bad performance is logically accepted
if firefox and chrome rendering html5 using GPU it will hav the same processing time ..... and im sure that firefox and chrome will do it in the near future
1. are thay still wokin on it? 2 can i try it?3 thay should add a buffer speed .icon /number build in the tool bar.then u could easy see yur SPEED .on a Page
It's funny that Opera's not in these videos...Opera 10.53 passes all these stupid tests easily and even better than ie9...And it's already out there!!!

IE9 Beta still hasn't fixed the issue with Windows Sidebar and a DPI over the standard 96 setting (which is too low/small for large screen sizes.)
What happens is the Sidebar breaks...clock freezes, pink or colored boarders around Gadgets.
This issue is known in IE8 and is continuing in IE9.
Maybe IE10 will fix this issue.
I bet you this issue doesn't get corrected as it was ignored in IE8.
