  • All of the ie9 demos are fake. They bottleneck the demo when they detect you are on a different user agent. How about you make a real browser, microsoft?

  • bullshit

  • check this out with different browsers html5test (dot) com

guess what the beta ie9 still sucks

  • Internet Explorer performing better than Firefox or Chrome? The Apocalypse is nigh!

  • Hell yeah. But on my old AMD 1,8 Ghz single core i achieved astronomical average of 24 FPS in Chrome and 23 FPS in Opera on 1680x1050 when i was fading through 2 HD wallpapers using pure JS and CSS opacity. I don't know who's written these demos, but he had to be from M$. So in reality... Chrome + AMD 1x1,8 = IE9 + 480GTX

  • @woocushpl This is HTML5, notice you see no developers complaining about this like you are because we can easily view the code source, it's not optimized for any browsers just html5, so shutup and stop complaining, Microsoft is smart enough to use unbiased tests or else developer critics would be all over them. IE9 beats all other browsers in GPU acceleration and in speed.

  • When i clicked on the microsft link youtube took me to some myspace page named redirect, what the hell google jealous much?

  • firefox 4 and chrome 7 will support gpu acceleration as well.

Opera already has GPU acceleration as far as i know.

  • @rav8x8 no opera doesn't have HA yet

  • did you solve png transparency problem finaly? :DDDD

  • makes no difference to me as I'm using Mac, if MS were willing to release a mac version, then I might reconsider.

  • Crap!

  • Firefox also have GPU acceleration in Developer preview verions but it is not enabled by default. And its faster then IE...

  • @hex1987 For me I found the preview version of IE9 faster than that Firefox. It might be because of the lack of GUI but of well, we'll see when both of them will hit the releasable versions.

  • People who think browsers other than IE9 are running smoothly with these demos, it because you have a good CPU and that is all. Get a lower-end computer and see the difference. On the other hand, most computers today supports graphics and hardware acceleration. So IE9 rocks!

  • Fuck Google! Fucl Firefox!

    Microsoft for Life!

  • リリース待ってます!

  • thing is. these demos have been made FOR IE9. im sure google could make some demos that would look shite in ie9

  • @mkr10001 not true ... the idea is simple ... html5 in ie9 will be rendered on the graphics card ... other browsers will render through the software ..... so the bad performance is logically accepted

if firefox and chrome rendering html5 using GPU it will hav the same processing time ..... and im sure that firefox and chrome will do it in the near future

  • @mkr10001 Totally agree.

  • I tested browser flip, flickr explorer and some other tests i get also 60fps in Safari on Snow Leopard.

  • @DislikeYou0000 Same thing when using Firefox 3.6 on SnowLeopard.

  • Opera cant even render flash videos smoothly... I hate visiting YOutube in Opera...

  • i reckon they will quickly improve chrome to handle this

  • 1. are thay still wokin on it? 2 can i try it?3 thay should add a buffer speed .icon /number build in the tool bar.then u could easy see yur SPEED .on a Page

  • It's funny that Opera's not in these videos...Opera 10.53 passes all these stupid tests easily and even better than ie9...And it's already out there!!!

  • @q1w8vr Plus, Opera doesn't even have to use the hardware to help render it. :P

  • Opera 10.53 gets around 50 fps in Browser flip :D
