they do not care .... and we are subject to them being stupid.

The use of cell phones by bus drivers seems to be quite common. Very common with Suffolk Transit and even on the MTA too.

Nice. I especially like it when I see a semi trailer operator yapping on his cell phone and turning a corner while shifting gears. One hand for the phone, one for shifting and two legs for steering.
