  • I find plunging with quick, short bursts while I flush a plugged up toilet allows the pipes to clear from the pressure of the water coming in + the plunger.

  • I disagree. I find the best way to plunge a toilet is to plunge with long bursts, without flushing until plunging is completed. This helps the natural flow of water break up the clog in the toilet more easily. See what I'm talking about in one of my videos on my channel. Check it out.
