Ok well you play this game on a Pentium Dual Core on MAX setting with a 590GTX and tell me you get a perfect 60fps with no lag. I'm sorry but both components are just as important, unless of course your an idiot n00b with no understanding of hardware. a C2D would never be able to utalize all the power of a 480, because it would be too slow to keep up with it. @SUP3RP3DR0L1V3 Honestly man go for either the i7 2600k or wait for the new cores as AMD are bringing out their new Zambezi series (socket AM3+) and Intel are bringing out their Ivy Bridge series soon too. stay away from any Hexacores like the Phenom II 1110T X6 because not really much at all if anything is optimized to use 6 cores. Also as for the GPU, 590's areepic but if your not in a rush at all you could wait for the new series GPU's which are scheduled to be released next year. lower temps

@herminist FRAPS es un programa para pc en la que mide los cuadros por segundo de otro programa o un videojuego pero tambien se puede usar para grabar una foto o un video del videojuego aunque necesitarias una pc mas o menos chingona para que aguante bien el programa (si es que lo vaz a usar para grabar). espero que esto ayude :)

All this crap about ATI & AMD performing better, sure. It might do in some cases, but if your doing alot of work besides gaming, it wont last... Neither will the card long..

And switching to Intel really saved me ALOT of BSOD's... I'm willing to pay extra for a Intel, and not a AMD.

if you have x4 965 8 gb ddr3 ram and hd 5870 you will have about 40 fps when in action and 70-100 when walking and looking the nature in crysis, but in gta iv, you will have 40 minimum. I am talking about high settings, no medium, all high.
