Your interpretation is excellent in my opinion. Although the composition is technically not difficult, it is not easy to play it in the right way mixing morbid and romantic elements. You however did exactly that. Thanks for posting.

the first part is supposed to be pianissimo,and your left hand is a little too heavy. work a little more on the dynamics and contrasting them.

but still, your technique...WOW. it took me forever to get these grace notes down, and you play them REALLY well.

Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin wrote many songs in that minor keys....he had a good life until he grewup and got lonely.....:( Its partially George Sand's fault! I hate her!>:( I wish he didn't die so young. not to mention a horrible death too!(tuberculosis) he was only 39.... this song makes mefeel sorry for him sooo much. makes me sad.

Sand's company has an undeniable effect in Chopin's life and artistic production. During their relationship he composed: The Preludes,Sonata in Bm,Three Studies among many others. There was authentic love in Sand's intentions is that,for 9 years,she took care of Chopin like she were his nurse. For better or for worse,she may have inspired some of his best musical productions. To blame her for Chopin's dead is absurd, the causes of Tuberculosis were not discovered until 1882,Chopin died in 1849.

Are you okay? I hope you're coping well. I lost two good friends two years ago, one of them 28 yrs old & the other one 34 yrs old (mother of 2 yr old triplets). Very sad, but life goes on.
