  • @ChapmanDoesitAgain So why were you watching this video? Just to spread your hatred?

  • The BIBLE is the MARK of the BEAST! Constantine (1st beast) legalized Christianity and had 50 bibles compiled. King James, (2nd beast) 666 # of a man, born 6/1566, 6th of Scotland, authorized 66 book bible, image of God's word, carried in your hand, memorized in your head, made to speak (the bible says) it keeps you under the curse of the law. Jesus is the real word of God and He speaks to us by the Holy Spirit.

  • I've never seen Brother Lawrence writing put to music and visuals. Love it!

  • Thank you it was so wonderul!

I was so happy to see a movie about brother Lawrence!

Thank you so much! the music is BEAUTIFUL!

    With Love,

    Gil from Israel :-)

  • Our God is Perfect!!!

  • what is the name of the video that is playing in the background of this message? i've never seen it before. thank you!

  • @goodkittygirl I took most of the clips used for this video out of the movie "Revelation". However mixed in between are clips and pictures from other sources as well.

  • Amen!

  • That was beautiful, thankyou

  • This is excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing other projects you've done. I appreciate your humility (demonstrated in your comments) regarding your own struggle with worship. I imagine your heart is much closer to God than you take credit for. God looks for a heart that is fully His. The Psalmist wrote: "Unite my heart to fear your name." That is the cry of every worshiper as we recognize the imperfections in our approach to God. David's heart was never flawless but it was perfect toward God

  • Thanks for your kind words! Loving God is the greatest commandment, but also a great joy and privilege.

  • God bless you

    this touched me deeply

  • If we stay in the presence of God by simple faith we are in the best place to be with regard to temptation....the presence of God is the least likely place we will sin...in fact, we can't. We would have to leave His presence, get distracted, follow a rebellious stream of thoughts, to get to where temptation can get us. All flows from staying close to Him.

  • Just try to make the praise as intense as possible, like an exercise, but mean it, and in so doing, you will inhabit the heights of God.

    For example:

Praise Jesus Lord of all things far beyond the most conceivable heights of eternal glory.

HEheh. It is easy, but you must mean it.

It is like a elevator to God.

  • Hey Runemaster777 - that is really inspiring as I really struggle in this area. I feel so much love for God in my heart, but each time I want to praise him and concentrate on praising him, all those counterproductive thoughts suddenly start to cross my mind - like the real typical things of why God is allowing so much evil to happen or even things in the Bible that God did and I have a hard time with --- those thoughts always come when I want to praise and that is than the end of it.

  • (continued).... It is really frustrating, b/c in my heart I know I love God and would like to praise Him more and had also great experiences when I did.

But as you wrote "you must mean it" and when all those thoughts start to run through my mind i somehow don't seem to be really able to overcome. Not easily at least.

    Any ideas on that one?

  • (continued) It is definitely a big subject for me. That is actually why I made all those videos about loving and worshipping God. As I wrote below I think this is key.

However praising - contrary to loving God with our hearts that is when you need your mind too -- as Jesus said we should also love God with our mind, not only with our heart.

  • Also, I believe the praise is self rewarding, because if I keep getting these visions every time I do a prayer/praise session, it can only increase my faith and strength. I normally do not have these mental visions, even when I try, but on both praise sessions I did. I am going to focus on praising God when I pray and see what revelations God has for me.

I am not quite conquered lust, but I am working on it. That is a tough demon to crack.

  • I have been having mental visions of God while praising him. Example: I was praising him in bed with eyes closed and asking forgiveness. Can you pardon a scoundrel like me? Is there any hope for me?

Then I saw myself kneeling at a heavenly throne. God came, kissed me on my head, and placed a crown upon it.

Was great. Praising seems to elevate us to his level.

  • Great video by the way.

  • I appreciate that, and I thank you.

However, this suggests that there are some who do not sin, for they have been successful in overcoming their sins.

I try real hard not to sin, but sometimes I am overpowered. I feel like a clown coming back time and again to ask forgiveness.

Nevertheless, he is faithful to forgive us of our sins.

His mercy in infinite, not that we should look forward to sin. I do not look forward to it. It just happens sometimes.

  • I definitely know how that feels --- repenting for the same sin again and again.

I did it almost every day for over 6 months and felt like a total looser. It did not end, b/c I overcame sin (even though I was trying hard), but b/c God allowed me out of that particular situation.

However, I do know, that God saw my fight and even though I did not feel like I did such a good job, I have a pretty clear impression, that He blessed me b/c of it.

So - keep up the good fight! It is worth it!

  • Who here does not sin?

    How often do you sin?

If we sin (badly), what do we do? It seems I sin about once a week.

Tell the truth, what are your most difficult types of sins?

  • @ Runemaster777 - What we do, if we sin? --> Repent!

That is what Jesus told us to do. And repenting means IMHO not only to feel sorry, but to also make a clear resolution in your heart to turn away from that kind of sin and to never commit it again.

We are not perfect and might fail again, but at least we should have an honest desire to turn away from it.

God sees (and as far as I have experienced also appreciates) our struggles, if we are serious in wanting to turn away.

  • I tried praising God in prayer, and I saw visions from God.

Amazing! Try it. Exalt him as in the loftiest way you can while in your bedroom at night, and you will see

    God.

  • Yes, I also believe that to love God and to worship God is the key.

As it is written, when Israel began to praise God, He set ambushments against Amon (2 Chronicles 20:22)

Jesus told us to love God would be the greatest commandment and very often when we try our best to follow this commandment amazing things happen.

  • This is an absolutely awesome video! Wow!

  • Brother Lawrence caught on to the essence of true Christianity is: Abiding in Christ continuously, moment-by-moment with no time-outs (John 15:4). Oh, how we need this message for the 21st century!!

  • I agree. This is excellent! You have quite a ministry through your videos!

  • EXCELLENT !!
