A nice,new approach to the "season greetings"that most of us are used to with Yasmin's stuff. Definitely different, and in a good way... Message is sent across well with beautiful visuals.
I have seen Yasmin's video, very very powerful indeed... A rare talent. Hence why so many negative comments here. But because Yasmin's work is so touching and incredible, it is normal that the new video won't have the same punch. However, I watch this 2012 video without pre-knowledge of Yasmin and I enjoy the message. For me that is a good way to watch it. Don't ask for a second Yasmin. Respect and remember what is gone but be open for the new. Honour Yasmin by supporting what she supported.
Having lived away from home in overseas for 3 years, I love this ad's message so much. Perhaps is the execution in terms of catching attention is not as strong. 48 seconds is not enough to bring out the 'touchingness' of it.
There is no "ummph" in it. They should not try to copy Yasmin's style. Somehow, she always managed to deliver the message thru with hers. May she rest in peace.
Sorry,but I think this is the worst ad among all the ads I've seen from PETRONAS so far, it's kinda disappointing because I always feel the message you are trying to get across, the feeling of home,family and friends.But this ad left me with no reaction whatsoever..I'm just being honest
