My Dachshund is like this too, except he's black and tan, he also got stung by a bee. he's four. He loves chasing squirrels and birds. When we first got him, we had a very old cat Tiger he kept clawing Lucky in the face and sides. Tiger died from cancer two years ago. Lucky sometimes acts like a cat. He tries to arch his back. He cannot Thank God what they call sit pretty. This messes up a Dachshunds delicate back.

Love this Reminds me of my Dachshund Greta that I gt for Christmas 1985. I loved that little dog so much, she was truly a best friend. Greta passed away in 2002 after 17 1/2 years of life... It was hard for the whole family... I now have two Dachshund Addie and Winnie and I hope the have a long and joyfull life like Greta had..... Thanks for sharing ...
