A very smart video explaining various Universes and not limiting Existence to one Big Bang. We are limited beings, but this video shows the human mind is not - and we are really close to understanding Everything. But there has to be simpler way to KNOW it, than complicating theories. Simple enough that the most uneducated person on an obscure part of this planet can have access to knowing this Everything. Lest, this creation will be meaningless. Everybody has the rights to knowing Everything.
As we speak right now black holes are sucking matter out of existence! Maybe on the other end big bangs are being created from black holes! That seems more logical than brain theories! That would answer the question what was before the big bang? Eventually black holes suck all matter out of the universe then recycle it on the other side as big bangs!
All these speculation of vibrating branes are there so that they (theoretical physicists) may accomodate the String Theory which is the so-called perfect candidate for the Theory of Everything. To me, no one will ever know what truly happened during the beginning and I think we should all stop making theories/stories from mere discretionary assumptions. This is just like creating a new version of a bible except that it contains more "facts" and "proofs" which I think is ridiculous.
This is a sloppy theory. Hawking has a much more realistic theory that perfection does not exist. So eternal blackness representing "0" is going to have fluctuations into +1 and -1. These pop into existence and cancel each other out on a quantum level as we speak. They do not cancel each other out perfectly. Our universe was a cancelling out of a larger scale +1 matter and -1 antimatter. that could not fully cancel itself out. Our stars and planets are the "smoke" from the big bang.
god big bang is sooo dummmmb... its sooo clear as day what it could be.. not thaat. thats weirdd.. its like we are in a toe nail of gaint thats soo big the space between his atoms are so vast it seems like theres noting.. hence dark matter... ;) :O *heart attack*
So matter and space of this universe was created by a collision of two eternal branes? Alright, I think it's a valid theory if one assumes that branes are eternal. However, where did the laws of physics come from? Without an observer (any kind of life or consciousness) why would the universe come into being in the first place? Or more importantly /how/ could it without an observer? Something with consciousness collapsed the infinite potential and brought about this reality.
Somebody had to say when universes collide, that would then be holographic, because it never happens, they just couldn't write "Childhoods End" at all could they?
everything right down to sub-molecular particles is vibrating or wobbling
so it's reasonable to assume that branes do to.
Also if the branes were perfectly flat there wouldn't have been any matter in the universe only energy (I think), but there is loads of matter in the universe so the brains must have been wobbly.
I always ask myself this question why god create all these galaxies and stars and planets why he didn't just create the earth and the sun to focus on all the mankind why he had created saturn and Jupiter and mercury and other planets? if he concentrate on humanity he should create just the sun and the earth and if I was wrong of what I believe then I will say ok if humans give me my humans rights to live then god will give me my human rights more than any human or country about what I believe.

Why does everyone think traditional religious people are incapable of balancing accepting this scientific research and theory investigation as legitimate while simultaneously accepting the idea of God? I do fear there isn't enough comprehension of religious people's complex approaches to these things. Surely there are simplistic people, but their blind passion hardly speaks for a plethora of intelligent and intellectual religious people who study these sciences themselves.
I devote myself to only one's part to be concerned with the body of own positively. Devote oneself to central roots trunk origin and sense it bodily and acquire it by experience and know everything to the minor details end. I know it from hardware to software.
you know how people use to build stone stuctures with there own hands and worship them?? <-- makes you feel how jee how stupid were they right??
<-- well these dumb theories that are actually taken seriously must be a joke to then next generation to come.. soon you too will relize " wow, how stupid was i ehh"... good day sir.
Shouldn't you first at least make an effort to educate yourself about what "theory" means in science? Hint: it means something completely different than in every day language.
The big bang theory only attempts to explain how the universe expanded from an infinitely dense point. The big bang theory does not attempt to explain how or why the point originated. So, how exactly does the BBT relate to your religious nonsense?
@drche420 Think about this. When the universe was an infinitely small point, time did not exist. Therefore causation did not exist. All logic sprang from the big bang, before that, before time, everything that could happen did happen instantly, as there was no time, and from that came the universe as we know it. Without time there is no cause, and a billion years or a minute is meaningless. The universe had to be born, because it could.
So you're going around claiming that you know there was nothing before the big bang? You can't prove a negative, especially an unverifiable claim. Peddle your prophecy elsewhere.
It most certainly is NOT a theory. A theory explains an observable phenomena (fact). Your "theory" attempts to explain what occurred (if anything) before the big bang, which is unverifiable. A theory must be verifiable.
@pearsc5d the term "theory" is the highest status possible in science, it means set of mathematical rules and relations that explain what happens and correctly predict what will happen. the thing you have in mind is called "hypothesis" in science. and BBT IS proven. search for and learn something about background radiation.
@pearsc5d same to you buddy, the day you can replicate The First Word in lab with God crawling from the test tube you may have a point. but until then, it's all mind-control bullshit ;)
@MidnightSt based on your response you are a religious man for you have chosen to BELIEVE the babel which you hear .whether it's from the Bible or the babel of man you still chose no matter how you want to label it .good luck in the future with your choice .
PS.you so called higher educate people are so easy to get going .BAH hahahahah
@pearsc5d based on all your responses you are a complete moron and therefore relatively accurate example of most of the religious people, and therefore waste of time and living space. have a happy moronic life in society where literally everything around you is based and built on knowledge and science you ignore and "don't believe in".
@pearsc5d i feel bad about calling you waste of living space, that was unappropriate and over the top, you're just a moron and a waste of time. sorry about that.
Scientists are far more closer to creation of life in lab than your idiotic retarded pedopriest has lied to you. Be prepared for the totall collapse of your retarded Bronze Age worldview.
Anyway, we don't even need to create everything in lab to see that it happens. We haven't created Sun in labs, yet we know that it exists and how it works.
@Hobu123 Technically we have with fusion reactors and particle accelerators. We utlimately have to be able to observe a thing before we can state whether our predictions bare out, this is also why prooving a god is impossible because it can not be measured.
Religion and science have to be hand in hand. Many things in science do exist, we have seen them. We have proof. But science itself wouldn't exist without something to cause it, a creator of sorts. Matter doesn't come from nothing. That is true. So how would all the matter we have today come from nothing? How is there effect without a cause? God defies the "laws of physics", and so does atheism. "Science without Religion is lame, and Religion without Science is blind."- Albert Einstien.
@CallumCotter 1. I posted the comment because I felt offended, and the person who wrote the "go read your bible" part claims to be an atheist. But, I never wrote "atheist=mean theist=nice", I wrote IF an atheist finds it blablabla, I was just contrasting the facts in the situation. 2. About the quote: I did not made it up, I just agree with it. I also found it very appropriate for the occasion, that's all.
I don't wanna be those religious fanboys but science is about facts and the fact is that before the Big Bang, there was nothing and only a living ultimate creator, and the power of this one ultimate creator is greater than anything else ever known or to be known!
Then that ultimate creator will destroy all this that he created since the purpose of his creations has been served.
@MrSandvich1 We already know one purpose of his. He wants to be known so he created us and wanted US to serve him.
The truth is, we humans are narrow minded, we don't have the ability to know everything, but our creator gave us the ability to learn and believe. The complexity of everything he created is so great that it hurts your head trying to think about it ALL.
Compare the smallest particle, a quark, even smaller to the biggest star in the universe! We are NOTHING compared.
a big bang never occured BECAUSE why is everything in perfect sync? solar systems and galaxies. wouldnt all these things be flying everywhere? theres nothing to hold them in place....
@theapic i see....well scientists are still not sure how the universe was created but have some pretty good theories. but some are really farfetched...like the big bang. something as small as a period on a piece of paper to blow up and create the universe.
I am not here to hate, and yes, I'm religious. I see a comment below the video saying some pretty mean words about religion. But what made me really annoyed is the "go read your bible" part. This sounds offensive, and if an atheist finds being mean normal, a religious person doesn't. I have just one thing to tell atheists right now:
"Nobody talks so constantly about God as those who insist that there is no God."
@TSAR373 Quote: "if an atheist finds being mean normal, a religious person doesn't."
Really?
I was once told by a "christian" on You-tube that, because I "would not accept the Lord Jesus into my heart," I was destined to burn in the pit of fire for all eternity.
The only thing he regretted was that, because he, as a christian, would be in Heaven, he would not be able to watch me suffer.
I've had more hate directed at me from Christians than I ever get from atheists.
how could this be a scientific video when it is not really scientifically proven. Because many of the science challenged the christian faith, we had to argue back to keep our faith and preach others who don't believe in God....
@TheWoshipper If you think science proves things you are sorely mistaken. Science merely explains the way things are. It does not try to prove anything.
@TheWoshipper Science simply tests theories in order to justify not prove them. And to be fair this video is not intended to try and disprove god. It is intended to provide a justified theory on how our universe came to be.
Why a brane? It seems as if they arbitrarily chose it as the instigator for the big bang. Is there any indication in nature that these branes exist beyond the realm of imagination? At the moment, it sounds quite ridiculous to me.
I would appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to explain to me as to why these branes are so popular.
they have their theory, all the religions have theirs, and i have mine and mine is that ponies created everything, it's just as good as the theories these jackasses come up with and all the 12 year old atheists on the internet.
If the big band happens after the two membranes collide does that mean that space and time don't exist within those membranes before the explosion? Because in the video it seemed empty until they membranes collided.
Or is the universe only a small part of the membrane; like a cell of an organ.
It's disappointing that 90 percent of scientific videos on here become a religious discussion. Can you take those arguments to religious or atheism videos and let us discuss the wonders of modern science.
@hockeybrotoe Unfortunately many people still refuse to accept the new knowledge that comes with the "wonders of modern science"...knowledge that displaces the ancient myths we've been satisfied with for millenia... so they feel the need to challenge it in videos such as this one
You cant separate God from the subject--and you certainly cant ignore all these theories are by Atheists. Science has officially jumped the shark now that they finally accept the odds of even the atom's cohesion.
They have no place to go but multiverses where there is just as much chance as a trillion suns spread out in the universes spelling out "This is the ludicrous world I created to avoid God"--because thats exactly where infinity brings you. Bias destroys their reason.
@DjPulseK And then what created the ??? that created those parallel universes and then what created that ??? that created that ??? to create those parallel universes and so on man it's amazing to wonder what the hell we really are.
@DjPulseK Whose to say they were created at all. Maybe essentially to me its looking more and more like existence started when something moved, and its been gaining mass and monument like a snowball ever since.
@BaboonJihad Now where did that something come from? Lol. This place, this universe we live in is just flat out infinite. The physical state has no start and it has no finish. We live in one big ass paradox, the guys in lab coats can't seem to accept that and the guys throwing religous doctrine use god to define it. In essence: we live here and we live here once. Make the most of it.
@chickletpudding its M theory , a collection of 5 string theories , Its theoretical physics , not a theory which is 100 % true , It does not have evidence to support it fully , but it explains things quite well , At present , the best explanation as to what took place before big bang
The way in the past people try to comprehend their true existence with out of having a clue why they exists. The same way current scientists trying to explain something with out of any clue what they are talking about? The string theory close enough to the reality but not completely accurate!!
i understand what markmusses is trying to say but this is a pointless argument beetween religen and science... science goes by the naked eye of things if its there it egsists if so then their its being hipercritical.. you know as well as i do no one was there at the begining of time not evan science so it reveals a mistery we will all no weather religen is right or if science is right in my eyes it a 50 50 situation..
Wait... So when talking about the brains (?) colliding and creating the "matter" that makes up our stars, etc, are they referring to the formation of quarks and gluons, and other sub atomic particles? If someone could please clear this up for me it'd be wonderful.
@AeroFiles what about red shifted galaxies? How about the cosmic background radiation? The entire theory MAY not be true, but it is a fact that our universe is expanding, and at the beginning, everything had be be on top of each other.
its hard to appreciate how large the galaxy is when i am actually in it, i need an actual photo please. i want to see a real photo of the milky way and i know that sounds impossible it would take thousands of years at light speed but you guys are magicians i will pay you well to cast magic and i will in reward teach you how to levitate.

So did you educate yourself about what "theory" means in science? What does it mean then?
Hobu123 2 months ago
@pearsc5d
The big bang theory only attempts to explain how the universe expanded from an infinitely dense point. The big bang theory does not attempt to explain how or why the point originated. So, how exactly does the BBT relate to your religious nonsense?
drche420 2 months ago 22

@drche420 It's God's ass cheeks.
xTSxALLDAY 2 months ago
@drche420 Think about this. When the universe was an infinitely small point, time did not exist. Therefore causation did not exist. All logic sprang from the big bang, before that, before time, everything that could happen did happen instantly, as there was no time, and from that came the universe as we know it. Without time there is no cause, and a billion years or a minute is meaningless. The universe had to be born, because it could.

drche420 2 weeks ago
@drche420 Just food for thought for those stumped on the question of what was before the big bang.
rich1051414 2 weeks ago
@rich1051414
So you're going around claiming that you know there was nothing before the big bang? You can't prove a negative, especially an unverifiable claim. Peddle your prophecy elsewhere.
drche420 2 weeks ago
@drche420 It's not a prophecy, its a theory, and no one has to believe it. Peddle your uncalled for hate elsewhere o.O
rich1051414 2 weeks ago
@rich1051414
It most certainly is NOT a theory. A theory explains an observable phenomena (fact). Your "theory" attempts to explain what occurred (if anything) before the big bang, which is unverifiable. A theory must be verifiable.
drche420 2 weeks ago
@pearsc5d the term "theory" is the highest status possible in science, it means set of mathematical rules and relations that explain what happens and correctly predict what will happen. the thing you have in mind is called "hypothesis" in science. and BBT IS proven. search for and learn something about background radiation.

TSAR373 2 months ago
I don't wanna be those religious fanboys but science is about facts and the fact is that before the Big Bang, there was nothing and only a living ultimate creator, and the power of this one ultimate creator is greater than anything else ever known or to be known!
Then that ultimate creator will destroy all this that he created since the purpose of his creations has been served.
DragonxxxFire 2 months ago
@DragonxxxFire Question is, what was/is that purpose?
MrSandvich1 2 months ago
@MrSandvich1 We already know one purpose of his. He wants to be known so he created us and wanted US to serve him.
The truth is, we humans are narrow minded, we don't have the ability to know everything, but our creator gave us the ability to learn and believe. The complexity of everything he created is so great that it hurts your head trying to think about it ALL.
Compare the smallest particle, a quark, even smaller to the biggest star in the universe! We are NOTHING compared.

Hello,
I am not here to hate, and yes, I'm religious.
Heywood Broun (1888 - 1939)
TSAR373 2 months ago

@TSAR373 Quote: "if an atheist finds being mean normal, a religious person doesn't."
Really?
I was once told by a "christian" on You-tube that, because I "would not accept the Lord Jesus into my heart," I was destined to burn in the pit of fire for all eternity.
The only thing he regretted was that, because he, as a christian, would be in Heaven, he would not be able to watch me suffer.
I've had more hate directed at me from Christians than I ever get from atheists.
HonestMan395 2 months ago
how could this be a scientific video when it is not really scientifically proven. Because many of the science challenged the christian faith, we had to argue back to keep our faith and preach others who don't believe in God....
TheWoshipper 2 months ago
@TheWoshipper If you think science proves things you are sorely mistaken. Science merely explains the way things are. It does not try to prove anything.
CtheWolfe 2 months ago
@TheWoshipper Science simply tests theories in order to justify not prove them. And to be fair this video is not intended to try and disprove god. It is intended to provide a justified theory on how our universe came to be.

Why a brane? It seems as if they arbitrarily chose it as the instigator for the big bang. Is there any indication in nature that these branes exist beyond the realm of imagination? At the moment, it sounds quite ridiculous to me.
I would appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to explain to me as to why these branes are so popular.

...where did the membranes come from?
DemonReacher 3 months ago
There's still one thing I don't get.
If the big band happens after the two membranes collide does that mean that space and time don't exist within those membranes before the explosion? Because in the video it seemed empty until they membranes collided.
Or is the universe only a small part of the membrane; like a cell of an organ.
PS. I know these sound like a stupid questions.

zestydude87 3 months ago
@hockeybrotoe Unfortunately many people still refuse to accept the new knowledge that comes with the "wonders of modern science"...knowledge that displaces the ancient myths we've been satisfied with for millenia... so they feel the need to challenge it in videos such as this one
carlsm95 3 months ago
@hockeybrotoe
