I love Teochew songs...My family is Teochew from China, but I was in BKK. When I was a kid, I didn't like to learn Teochew. My family sent me to Chiese school,but I hated it. Now I regret.my stupidity.

@xyleni Most Min Nan languages have been influenced by neighboring languages. In general I see an apathy from young people in learning their ancestors' language. For example, I am Taiwanese living in the United States, and most of my peers speak only English and sometimes Mandarin. Very few can understand Taiwanese or Hokkien.

Sometimes I run to chinese folks that also speak teo chew ( most of them are immigrant from kambodja) Any of you teo chew from Pontianak? anyway...thanks for sharing this...peace out. J.

hi bonzibon08, i have been visite sandiego for several times. I really like the climate & beaches. I know in Sandiego; the area of Mira Mesa & Linda Vista there are teochew immigrants most of them are from vietnam. In LA of Orange County there are more teochew communities. Good luck finding them
