These speakers are not completely garbage though, they sounded better than pioneer NXT speakers we got from best buy for $360. The 12" sub pounds, even though the frequency response is not good and bass is muddy. My $1k klipsch quintet speakers + sub10 and yamaha receiver sounds a lot better.

i had the pleasure of one of you scam artists a few months back. tried to sell me a home theater system out of his van... luckily i had heard about this old scam ages ago, so i took his big heavy box of equipment probably 60$ worth of shit and "accidentally" slammed the equipment into the concrete after taking a picture of his face with a phone... i then reported him to police.

yeah if you are in an area which is so small that they haven't heard of it yet, yes they will pull you over. It's happened to me a million times. Always same story... (if) you don't have a permit, don't let me catch you guys again... they don't even respond to calls any more in major cities. It really bugs you guys I've done this for 6 years and I get away with it huh? it's been going on for over 30 years...

Oh man I lost 460 thanks to these idiots. I learned my lesson. Never trust anything that sounds this good. The second I took the think out of the box I noticed how cheap the construction was. I kepts saying... this stuff looks cheap. The suggested price on the box was $3500, but it looks like a 50 dollar system. At this moment I haven't tested the speakers because I was moving at the time. Not looking forward to plug in these things to my stuff.I am kinda scared that it would damage something.

Do NOT even hook them up... They WILL damage any receiver/amp you hook them up to.
Just do what this guy did, or strap some explosives to them. Have SOME fun out of it at least.

I got hit up by a white van speaker vendor back in my college days. Supposedly messed up order for a new dance club. 8" woofer, 4" midrange and dome tweeter.
Told how each speaker was worth $800.00. Pretty, but drivers looked plain. Enclosures were thin MDF. No way dance club power handling. I said I would buy two at $50 each. He agreed!
They actually didn't sound too bad. Also had L-pad controls so you could balance the sound. $1600 set? No way! but $100... maybe. Still have them.

I have never purchased ANYTHING that I have not been happy with. Why you ask? Well, because I am not an idiot, and I do lots of research before purchasing anything.
Name your price? They could pay $10 for these "home theater systems" and still be getting ripped off. That's how shitty they are.
But, what these people do is illegal. It's false advertisement. Many of these systems can actually catch on fire.

these guys have been around for years!! I was first aproched about 9-10 years ago. he started at like 600 and we went all the way down to like 250 or 300. it was all i had so I said no. was really hard, they talk and talk. one guy even had a speaker in my back seat! in the end i took it out and gave it back and said NO. thank god!

man, i got scammed too :( paid 800 off the retail 5000. you have no idea how much it hurts to be sucked up to them after you found out that the piece of rock is worth $150. then again, i guess you do. there's even sand in it to make it feel genuine. that's lame! i can't believe i got rolled. well no more, next time i see them, i'm going to make them pay. but the $800 parted me. i knew it was too good to be true. :(
