The driver was driving on a road that ran alongside a flooded river. He swerved to avoid a deer and ended up in the river.

Amazing the truck floated long enough to get to the dam. Nice catch on the video. Praise God the truck was the only casualty.

To a previous posting, perhaps you should read the all the comments first before making a "DA" comment. He wasnt trying to cross the river.

EPA ought to be notified, owner should pay for recovery too.. he is a DA for trying to cross the water, if people are made to pay for the expense of rescuers time, vehicles, and materials, all of them, police, fire, ems, , for putting their lives on the line to pull your sorry dumb butt out of the water....AND pay a stiff fine TOO
