  • lean much? and nice reverse. the reverse always has problems...

  • @scbjgs lean? nah it was running find and reverse wasn't having any issues, it was one of the torque drums on the tracks binding up.

  • @wolfie965 no i meant your reverse wasworking great. ine never works that smooth....no matter ow low my idle is...

  • @scbjgs Oh, it's not your idle, might wanna check your highspeed tune, whats it do when you shift into reverse?

  • @wolfie965 well back when i had my 2.5 i went to shift into reverse and it got stuck in neutral and just revved up to about 3/4 throttle then just kicked into gear and broke a few teeth on my spur gear.....

  • @scbjgs Ahh, prolly the server got stuck, it's pretty common for them to not fully engage sometimes when the shift lever gets gritty.

  • hi!

do you think it's possible to use this kit on savage 3.5?

(I'm italian, I'm sorry for my english)

  • @Guingia91 highly doubt it my friend, i'm not sure of the axle size of the savage.

  • where did u find a hex to fit in it

  • @traxxasbandit1

read the thread i have posted in the video description.

  • did thoes come off a hummer from radio shack???

  • @traxxasbandit1

    indeed it did.

  • what does the tmax have in it? and how fast is it?

  • It´s surprisingly fast!

  • @DaBoogie049

yeh, it was fun 8D a shame they locked up a lot, it was more of a "proof of concept" to all the naysayers, that swore it could never be done, i found a way to retro fit them for less then 10bucks, with tweeks, im sure it would have been far better.

  • how are those tracks holding up, very cool idea.

  • @pvelker i havn't run her in a long while now =( i blew the front bearing so im lookin for a new engine, thinkin of converting it to electric.

  • @wolfie965 i wouldnt.....ive been thinking of converting my emax to nitro.....electric has its problems like nitro has its problems......but the cost of the conversion is hardly worth it, youd be better off selling tmax and just buying an emax.......probably end up money ahead

  • how fast do you think it goes, very cool idea for snow bashing and bashing in general.

  • @pvelker no clue, was still pretty zippy as seen, i figure it was doing about 10ish.

  • Man I would love to get some quality ones on my E-Revo, I spent my first winter running the Revo in the snow its a blast but the shit it could go through with Mattracks on it.

  • what was the catalog number on the hummer

  • ya i got them on a hummer from radio shack

  • howed you get them and how much did they cost

  • i got them on a radioshack hummer truck.

  • Like it! But I'm guessing the tracks would need to be a little bigger for full off road performance.

    4/5

  • i have mattracks on both of our atvs and i have an E-Maxx but i dont have anywhere to make a custom set. im trying to sell my E-Maxx for like $200 if anyone is interested. Runs great, all included. i just dont have the time anymore.

  • if i had 200 bucks i'd buy it, or ya could donate it to a good cause ;) i'd give it a good home with the tracks attached full time.

  • i would love to give it a better home, but i am one of those college kids who is hurtin for money. :(

  • no worries =)

  • hey do you have a link to those tracks ??

    looks pretty nice

  • Awsome.. I've always wanted to know if they would work in a tmaxx but didn't wasnt to spend the money if it didn't work.

Why doesn't someone make a mattracks kit for the tmaxx? Heck even Mattracks could do it. the kit could be made out of aluminum and maybe a little bigger. Could even make it universial so that it could work on all nitro and electric trucks and cars.

  • i've actually pondered it, but it would take a mint to R&D it propperly O.o; though it would be full of awesome fuckwin on the electrics.

  • Well if you could copy the mattracks from the radioshack truck and had the shop you could make a them. I don't have access to a set of the mattracks to be able to figure out how to design a set. To bad because I know someone who has access to a shop that could make me a set, plus he would want a set for himself for his emaxx. I've been on the mattracks site trying to get a good pic that shows the setup.

  • you think theres a way to those tracks up to a mini-t

i know it wouldnt look right seeing as how it would be 1/10 tracks on a 1/18 car

  • i honestly doubt it =( the amount of power it would take to turn them is quite a good bit, i dunno if the mini-t could even move with them attached, the other obstacle in your way is actually fitting them on the wheel hubs. unless you have a machine shop that you can costume build them i dunno >.>

  • where did you get them

  • you can get them at radio shack on there "mattracks" hummer rc car

  • where did you get those

  • the tracks came off of a radioshack hummer

  • and they fit good

  • after a lil modifications yes, you can read bout it in the link in my comments on the video =)

  • you go to radioshak and get the mattracks from the hummer, d d d

  • wow DAMN..

i want this mattracks on my traxxas stampede with 2X4X4..

  • I need some of these, what mod does it take to get it so strong and smooth operating?

  • O.O dude,14mm hub.. uhh is it snug fit? what mod did you do? is there a hex hub on that mattrack? can you make another video of the whole mattracks removed from your truck side to side... please?

  • if you look at the forum link in my comments you can see a still photo of how it's attached =)

  • Hey im on RCU and BYT, I have been looking for someone who could make a set of these for a long time. WM racer on both sites find me and hit me up with the info

  • lol me to i got it from rcu i am jeffmiz

is there sound or is it just me

  • yeh, if it didn't bind up i coulda hit 2nd gear in it =3 till i can figure out how to keep the torque drums from binding into the case of it i'll be stuck to low speed in 1st gear, now this on an emaxx where you don't have to worry about engine overheating would be rocking solid in a crawler setup

  • I got this from RC universe to!! I'm arcticcatwill(hence the name) I want to do this to my S-maxx soooo bad

  • i got this from rc univesre cool vid im hockey911 the one who missspells a lot lol nice vid suprised it goes at that speed, i thought it would go slower
