Then Scunny came out and scored two in the 2nd half, of which one was in the 85th minute. Great day out, and made up for it in 2010 with a 1-0 win v Swindon Town.
44,159 Millwall fans at that, with 9,300 Scunthorpe fans. Such a great day despite the result. The weather was brilliant, walking around the ground before the game seeing Millwall fans had completely taken over the town centre, train station, tube station, Wembley Way and inside the stadium! Then the game was a thriller, Scunny taking an early 1-0 lead, before Alexander scoring two (of which one was the greatest goal ever) just before half-time to change the game in the space of 2 mins.
andy frampton in the net after it crosses the line. haha. legend. what a two minutes and this year made up for. dont get all the swindon fans saying we are only up because they didnt show up. who do they think they are. they follow swindon not fucking barcelona. we finished 3rd and walked the play offs. promotion was thoroughly deserved.
