Cops in Radford were never known for their intelligence. I once had one threaten to give me a ticket for reckless driving.......I was parked at the curb with my engine off.
I have a grand marquis ( crown vic ) and I have a plastic box with 250 lbs of sand in it that I out in the trunk and then I deflate the tires to 26 psi and I can go almost any where i want with no problems- some times I spin some but I can always get going in a few tries. This has been with allseason tires, This year I am going to but Blizzark tires on
I would be more embarrassed for filming it for 9 mins if not 40. Nothing funny about it when the person out there for your protection is stuck and therefor unable to render aid.
Only other person that should be embarrassed is the city's road department for their lacking of salting ability's.

Pop the Vic trunk open & tell all the folks to hop in standing to add more rear weight for better friction/traction with better distribution in the rear. Then the front weight won't mean as much shit to keep the car stuck. btw-I staple my tires (mini stapler); (new, wouldn't recommed short of life tires.) tread teeths before winter comes, & I have ppl looking like I'm in a invincible squad winter machine, lol.

They need to carry a set of thick chains (not cable) in their trunk. The kind with the spikes for biting into the ice. It's faster than trying to push the damn thing. I've been caught in the same situation. It sucks ass and is very frustrating. The more you burn out the more slippery it gets on thick ass bullshit ice like that! I guess the friction heat causes some surface melt making it extra slick. That's my guess.
Well, if there was a bank robbery they would send all remaining 6 units, not to mention Pulaski County who has 5, or Montgomery County who has 12. It depends on which part of the city they were on.
