ohhhhhh... amazine picture.... amazine song.... in my opinion Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 were very interesting and spectacular movies... the story is very catching and the effects are so nice... so and love this and I love those movies

This one was used in the very well made Korean movie "The Good, the Bad, and the Weird. It's played in the chase scene thru the Manchurian desert on horseback, trucks, jeeps, and bikes. Japanese soldiers, bandits and heroes chasing each other in the pursue of a treasure map. Firearms and artillery. AWESOME!

Yeah. It was really funny. As I said, the best part is the chase. The rest is REALLY weird.

I think this song is appropriate. In the scene there is enough tension between the two, but you ALREADY know that the bride will win. So I think this song represents O-ren's inner surrender or defeat. But she still fights the bride to maintain her honour. It's reminds of Spanish bullfighting and reaching a resolution to a stand-off.

Plus, this song kicks ass.

I remember how much sex I got after dancing to this in discos in Europe in the late seventies. Soulful Spanish rythym that connects you with the essence of yourself. I don't understand what the tune has to do with Japanese Samurai slasher movies but what the Hell it's nice to just close my eyes and listen and remember.

What it has to do with Japanese slashers is absolutely nothing, by creating a drastic contrast it creates a unique blend of emotions that make the scenes it plays through that much more memorable. It causes the audience to pause and really consider what is occuring on screen, where a more traditional theme might fall to the background.

In this case the clash between Japanese culture and Spanish culture is a bit of a stretch for me. Just my taste I guess."Sort of like mixing sushi and Paella with a spoon. Sometimes music is selected for a movie by its financial backers merely because its their favorite song, or because they didn't want to shell out a few extra million to have Hans Zimmer compose their score. I'm glad we both like Santa Esmeralda's version of the music, albeit for vastly different reasons.
