has the tbss driver ever raced before? i heard the truck down shifting! you dont roll race like that! you keep it in one gear and up in the rpms then take off and shift it!

@BLACKLACDTS i thought the whole point of automatic was that it chooses the gears for you so you don't have to. How do you keep it from going to a higher gear if you are cruising? That is, unless you have a tiptronic or something... or am i mistaken?

@vtcolin they have numbers on the shifter 1-2-3-d if u pick d it will be auto but if u put it in 1 from a stop it will stay there till u shift it to 2 or d. in the case of racing sumbody i pull it down in whatever gear it needs to be in and keep it high in rpms then take off and shift to the next gear.
