mate look at my video, my method will work with any game that you can window. So yes if you can get NFS carbon to work windowed you can do split screen.

I FOUND A BREAKTHROUGH... using virtual pc always you to keep the window in focus!!!!!!!!!!!!! VMware is it... downlaod virtual windows xp pro on isohunt if you already own the disc software. it makes it quicker. no piracy intention. lol so yeah now all i need is to get virtual pc to send signals through an internet connection for the controls or some other place of connection to be sent to the virtual pc through the backdoor.

i also wanted to add that tweaking with compatiblity might tweak the program into coming into focus... idk... there must be some setting that can trick the app into thinking it is in focus when its not? some scripting hack with the app itself?

1. With most games, Alt + Enter makes it in a windowed mode, at least for me and windows xp...

2. in order to have control over two apps at once, we would probly have to find out how to have two microsoft windows open on one pc. simulator? idk if the simulator could share videocard use.

this makes me wonder is it possible to run 2 copies of Resident Evil 5 on PC in windowed mode and have it connect to each other (using virtual lan server like Hamachi and Tunngle), but then the question is how to get 2 xbox controllers to send input to both games at the same time, and i guess how to make both game copies be "active" at the same time.

i complete the guide with cod6 mw2 , but i've got a problem: the controls in cod don't recognise numpad number (but i can change the file of autokey to solve that problem).

another problem, despite of i can't move jump shot... with both players , i can move the camera only with the mouse, ican't do it with the keyboard, how are your config controls in the game to solve that?

Yes, it's better to have a controller.

Make a second copy of the iw3mp.exe, so you have 2 of them, then you can open up 2 at once.

You only need one controller so it should still work, it should be sending the buttons pressed to the inactive window. Try changing which window you have active and seeing if that works.

Well you basicly dont use 2 windows at the same time, you just control the inactive window using AutoHotKey with a simple command located in the start of the script.

WHAT!? HOW?! You're using a gamepad for the second player and keyboard + mouse for first player right? I've been looking around since forever to get two keyboards and two mices working.

I am using a gamepad for both players, you can have one person using keyboard+mouse but both having gamepads makes it a fair match. Sadly it's really hard to aim because the players turn too fast, this is because the controllers are assigned to keyboard buttons. If you follow the link in the description a guide on how to do it will be found there. I haven't finished the guide yet, but check back soon.
