No they don't. My late dog Fred, also a basset who was 14 years old, hated the floor. My new basset, Bubba, hated it also. He prefers the new floor. I don't care for laminate flooring. I love real hardwood but laminate sucks.
I had a Bonnie as well, but she was a cavalier king charles spaniel. Your Bonnie was beautiful, I am sorry for your loss. Hopefully she is running with my Bonnie at the bridge
So cute! She really is Bonnie! Assuming she is a girl! I have a 3 year old Bassett named Poppy she features on you tube also. Never have I met such adorable dogs...they crave affection. I would recommend this breed to anyone.
Thanks for commenting on Bonnie, she was a rescue dog we had her since she was 2 and she was 9 when she died. We have had 4 bassets but Bonnie was the only one which didnt howl, she was a beautiful girl.

This was my Bonnie who died in March 2007. She was the most adorable basset ever and we all miss her very much. Love you always

This surely was a bautiful lady! :-) It is so sad to see them die, but this happens to all of us and we must be strong. :-(
I own a boy basset hound 5 months old and he is such a monster :-) He chews on everything, but hey, he is just a baby!
