  • Please guys, dont consider this bas..rd of Jolianthom, just let him hang himself, but lets focus on Roland and his amazing work, and his musical evolution all over the years, talented and clever...and my gohhhd !! what bass lines on this last album !! one of these days my walls will fall down "Hey now, read my lips"

  • @jolianthom dude, under what rock did you came from talking nonsense shit about his current musical style, wacked out hairdo, die hard Fans worldwide, sounds like you need to get laid -don't like it- perhaps you shoul come up w/ better ideas.

  • thanks kfirefly13. wat an amazing song lol

  • @Heretickay Tomcats Screaming Outside is still available on Amazon com. This album was a pleasant surprise. I was familiar with his face but never knew his name or about him until I bought Elemental earlier this year, which lead to my Tomcats Screaming Outside purchase and in turn lead to RATKOS purchase.

  • does anyone know the name of the song @ 2:27 ?

  • @Heretickay Its from his solo album tomcats screaming outside 'Snowdrop'.

  • @jolianthom HAHAHAHA JOKER!!!!!

  • These very natural and pure guys from Bath just got caught up in the bull shit of Hollywood and the fame train. They didnt want to rule the world but they wanted to shout....yet they indeed ended up sowing the seeds of love. I personally love em for it. I was there to witness how it all started... with such wonderful innocence and humour. Thank you Roland and Kurt.

  • @jolianthom 'ive been left behind' ... now we all know, how you feel ... if you change your point of view, you will see, that you're the one with the problems.

  • @jolianthom whats ur problem? hes done nothing but say what he feels and the last i read its not bad to share ur own feelings so mate just back off thats too far

  • @jolianthom lol. yeah, you're a troll..

  • @jolianthom

What kind of d.ck are you? who are you by the way? if you are able to write ONE song that this genius has written, that sure will meke you a human being, but for sake just shut you f.k.n.g mouth and piss off

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROLAND !!!! Have a nice day for your 50th birthday!!

  • I had the chance to hang with him and Curt years ago, at an after party and he was the most humble and sweetest person. Gave you his time and talk and share. Very cool dude and extremely talented!

  • His album Tomcats Screaming Outside is genius and its damn shame that it is no longer in release. it should be re-released. I find Roland to extremely private as well. I've learned to just live with it. what else can you do? its painful but oh well, i'm not going to pester him to blog or share what's on his mind. He clearly never wanted to anyway. The thing is several of us will face him again soon.

  • I met him thru the radio station WLIR on Long Island, New York. I was great friends with most of the DJ's there and got invited to the station every time he came for an interview. he knows me as The Frog Lady. He's amazing. Very Sweet. Not at all smug. Just very private.

  • @hahnziedoodle1 WLIR.... Such memories. First time I heard TFF.. Got introduced to U2 (Before they went commercial), Berlin, Flock of Seagulls. Hell, I could go on and on. Goodtimes, Goodtimes.

  • he is just a great gutiar player and singer good job curt and roland GO TEARS FOR FEARS

  • He can do whatever he wants......at my house. Roland, come holla at your girl. I love you. Thanks for posting this. Made me happy.

  • Hes just a leo gosh

  • I just don't get some of these comments. How is "expressing" yourself considered being "smug" or "full of yourself"? Roland is just saying how he feels. He is an artist (very talented one, I might add), who writes and performs music....he's brilliant and I love him.

  • @bgoldrock Well I would guess he is referring to how he was expressing himself, not so much on stage, but maybe off stage he was acting like he was all that and a bag of chips. That is just my guess though.

  • @bgoldrock absolutely

  • Thanks for this! Very inspiring& insightful

  • what a deep voice for a great singer!

  • @thedaisy1963 That's true. You said he was conceited. And what does it say about you, that you are sitting here watching this guy's interview, and insulting him? Maybe you are the one who needs to get her ego in check.

  • i met him many times. not full of himself at all. just very reserved. he has an amazing soul and an aura to go with it. i love everything about him. i even named my frogs after him and Curt.

  • @hahnziedoodle1 how does one meet roland orzabal? i would love to meet him

  • Great job as always!!

  • I'm very happy to hear that Roland really enjoyed his time when he alone was TFF, as did I. That edgier period of the band up to including "Tomcats..." is my favorite.

  • ............Is that a vagina on his shirt?? haha

  • yes Tomcats screaming outside is,in my opinion, his best work!!! I absolutely loooooooooooooooooove that album.

  • I love his voice too. I guessed he was uncomfortable how fast they became sucessfull back in the 80's from watching other interviews. I had lunch yesterday at this restaurant called the Cantina. I swear the guy who waited on us looked like he could be Roland's son. He had that curly black hair and features like Roland. The guy said he was from Ecuador but has some Argentian blood. Anyway thanks for posting this.

  • great job as always Zelda...mwah!

  • Very nice footage. Always nice to hear Roland talk.:)

  • Nice one Zeld - where is this from though? What program was it on? I can see a 'Y' in the corner.

  • @jezzyby47- It's Yahoo Music. Probably, it is still there on the yahoo music web site. I have seen this before... around 2003.

  • @ajittffcure - I thought it was a Yahoo 'Y' but i didn't know that they had this kind of stuff on Yahoo. I'll have a look now, thanks ajittffcure.
