this is the 5th time i'm viewing this clip.

each time i watch it, i grit my teeth and tell myself not to cry but the tears just swell in my eyes involuntarily.

The poignance of the sofa scene made me sigh deeply.

And one more thing, people that watch this movie with me tend to not get this part. They always ask me why she's so happy after she sees her mother and walks away smiling. They said that if they would have seen their mother after she died that they would have cried and/or freaked out. What they're not realizing is that this is a LITTLE GIRL. Now she knows that her mother will always be there whether she can see her or not. It was meant to be comforting, not scary. =D

I dont know what in my mind makes me love this movie SO much. I dont know anybody else that could watch it over and over and over again the way i do. But i do. I rented it the other day and watched it 4 times. yeah. Maybe it has something to do with all the rain (i love rain). It might have something to do with losing her mother, i love my mother and maybe its kind of a fear since i've already lost my father. love the song. love the movie. makes me cry every time.
