Besides, this one gives horizontal recording and a nice welcoming background rather (except for the Windows logo). An eagle view recording used by engadget, facing downard on a table gives me nausea instead.

I have seen some reviews about GoFlex Satellite, one was from Engadget, it wasn't bad at all, but over there I don't recall the fact that the satellite could have been also pluggable via adapter. That's not a minor detail.

Its a pretty weird choise to choose for wifi instead of bluetooth comparing to other devices, pretty cool however because you have a much larger range. Does it also have a WPA2 protection ?

Linus please put one of those boxes up on the video saying an Android App is coming and that an Android phone should be able to stream the file from the drive via the browser and not have to download the whole thing. I don't know what your new fascination with Apple is right now but at least give the other companies credit instead of ignoring them.
