I always love what Adam has to say. It's so sincere.. maybe it's because he has time to think while the other two comment, and he can watch the reactions of the performer. Either way, he's my favorite judge and I always look forward to his critiques :)
This dance gives me the chills and it's amazing!! I just wish that there weren't as many lifts and that there was more solid, in-sync choreography. but holy crap! chilllls
I have noticed that with this show and american idol as well, the best contestant is not always the winner, or vice versa. In mho, Ashley was the best female dancer (of course she left because of an injury) and Billy was probably th best male dancer besides alex. the voting system and the way the judges eliminate people was ridiculous. Jose and melinda needed to be eliminated week 1 and 2

I just saw them perform this live last night, and it was out of this world. I wish we could have seen more from Ashley. And Ade is a dream to watch on stage.

Great song choice as well, Florence's music is so deep and just magical. And I think that this dance just brought out everything that the song represents. <3 <3
I know people are going to want to see this on tour. The way people talk, it's even better live. But I think they should consider Ashley's health. It would seem this routine is too demanding to do 40+ times
@HalosGirl54 Totally agree. And Ade did not get ANY of the attention he deserved. This would not have worked had it not been for Ade's incredible partnering abilities. I was very disappointed that Ade did not get acknowledged EVER for any of the pieces he danced this season. @Lisa4174 ITA I thought I was the only one who noticed.. Billy, Ashley and Melinda best performance was with Ade. A lot of people think 2 of the top 5 S7 performances included him. But you would think the contestants performed solos. Lauren performed well with Ade as well. However she didn't outdance him in the Cheesman jazz the way the judges tried to make it seem. But I think her best performances were with Pasha.

I wasn't horribly disappointed with her winning-although I might have preferred Kent...not sure.(I have felt for several seasons that the BEST dancer hasn't won, but the most charismatic-and Nigel has said that as well.Travis, Danny, Will-or Katie, Brandon, Jason...all superior dancers. But I loved Benji, Sabra, Josh, Jeanine and Russell, so...But I WAS devastated when Alex was injured. The show wasn't the same without him
@Lisa4174 Agree again. Everything went south after Alex injury. Even the judging became more and more personal. I think he was suppose to win and it looked like he would after the first 3 weeks. Oh well, Lauren is a deserving winner but looking at Ashley's routines, she would've given her a good fight. This was her best performance but I liked all her routines.
@new735758 I totally agree with you. In Season 5, Jeanine danced with Ade, and season 7 Lauren danced with Ade and both of them did not out danced him but they won. It's very interesting, whoever danced with Ade, will make them look better. I think Ade is an amazing dancer.

@MsDanilea I think you are falling for the the show's manipulation. Toward the end they wanted Jeanine in the finals and sacrificed Ade to do it. The male role makes the female look better in ballroom, not the other way around. But a good female performance will take the focus away from the male. If u r noticing the male, the female is not outstanding. Louis mustve thought he was good. He booked him for one of his ballroom with a twist shows.
My favorite (and one of the best) contemporary pieces ever on SYTYCD! I miss Ashley terribly...this season went downhill once the injuries started. Also, thank you Dee Caspary for turning me onto this AMAZING SONG!!!

The allstar's, that I've witnessed, have held back as to not compete with the contestants. Ade got to live in this performance because of the fact that Ashley was strong to perfection and controlled. AMAZING!!!
:47 - :53 He grabs her leg in a bend and she so gracefully ends up in the most beautiful toe point. If only we could all be controlled by such a powerful dancer as Ade and be as graceful and compasionate as Ashley....... hhhhhhhhh.......
I really hate it when they shorten the songs. It ruins the magic.
