This would be a nice science project for grade school; some very basic fundamentals are put to use to show how charges can ionize molecules, and what happens to ionized molecules when they encounter opposite charges and other molecules. Yes, Earth's electromagnetic and gravitational fields have nothing to do with this; it is generating an artificial gravitational field within the device, in the direction of the positive-polarity(the smaller electrode). No electrostatic propulsion and ion-wind propulsion are two vastly different things. Ion-propulsion needs a medium to ionize, either air, or in vacuum a heavy-gas like xenon. Earth's gravity is caused by its mass pulling on our own, as positive masses attract. Our body is not charged so it would not react to the Earth's electric field caused by the ionosphere, instead it's simple gravity that keeps us on the floor. Keeps the Sun going, too.

So by your own theory, the thing would generate a localized gravitation field? I have nothing to disprove that, but why are other objects in its environment not affected in that case? Fields don't generally have hard boundaries.

Inertia is not in mass. You have CHARGE, and CHARGED MASS. Charge is separate from mass. INERTIA IS DUE TO NET CHARGE, not mass, or localised amount (density) of material substance.

The SEG or any other device does not "make power out of nothing". Is that "nothing" you're breathing right now? Once it was thoght the air we breathe was "nothing". Nothing is something. In the vacuum experiments, when the charge is supplied to the system, can the supply be cut off at its peak? @Beamshipcaptain Beam,have you tried doing this.....at the top of the lifter on the wire going around the top, rather than one single wire, make 2, a top and a bottom wire, and then loop the copper wire around from top to bottom, and all the way around, leave an inch space between each loop and drop the voltage,you should create an electromagnetic field around the top(coil), which could react with the oposite field and create a gravity well in the centre pushing down thus pushing the lifter up?

These work better in vacuum, and one of my clients, John Fiala, confirmed vacuum operation several years ago, as did the Inventor, Thomas townsend Brown over half a century ago. Ion wind is too weak a force to loft even a 5-gram model, and this device is over 42 grams! And with the Biefeld Brown effect, there is no limit to the force, and no inertia or G-forces.

I ask because with the ion wind hypothesis, I am hesitant to acknowlege that this is truly anti-gravity. (Unless you define anti-gravity as anything that counteracts the effects of gravity, in which case a helicopter or a ladder would also qualify...) The strings that you're probably talking about are necessary at this stage, not to lift the apparatus by pulling it, but to lift the apparatus by supplying it with energy and stabilizing it.

Nothing stopping your from building and flying perhaps a 25-footer. Larger the area of the plates (electrodes of the capacitor/craft, the greater the effec, and yes, it is more efficient in vacuum, and cancels inertia and G-forces, because every atom of craft and payload moves uniformly with the applied field.

This would be a nice science project for grade school; some very basic fundamentals are put to use to show how charges can ionize molecules, and what happens to ionized molecules when they encounter opposite charges and other molecules. Earths electromagnetic field has nothing to do with this. Lifting a few grams of foil and balsa wood hardly correlates with interstellar travel. Show us a "Beamship" with a non-zero quadrupole moment generating any kind of gravitational wave. Antigravity... lol.

Yes, Earth's electromagnetic and gravitational fields have nothing to do with this; it is generating an artificial gravitational field within the device, in the direction of the positive-polarity(the smaller electrode). Subquantum Kinetics predicts a psoitive-space charge induces a G-well, and a negative space-charge induces a G-hill. The device, like a surfboard, rides this modified wave of space-time into infinity, as long as charge is maintained. Read warp-bubble calculations of Alcubierre.

I had attempted this experiment in the early seventies, but my working environment was far too adverse. The plans were called the "NIPID" or Net Inertia Ion Propulsion Drive
It was sold and advertised as anti-gravity
Electronatom Corporation in 1949 had determined to build these commercially. The idea was called "ion boundary layer control". I have no idea what became of that endeavor!

Force is EXPONENTIAL(non-linear) with increasing Voltage. Jean Louis naudin in France has a model that weighs 253 grams. My 5 and six-foot Beamships have a pwer-to weight-ratio of approx .87 Watts per-gram of ship and payload. Uste that as a starting calibration, and adjust accordingly.

That is one obvious method of control that I started working on, electrically isolating the three sides, and varying the pulses to each side for pitch and rolll control, by pulsing the sides in a rotaing-pattern. Electronatom Corporation was based in Bala Cynwyd, PA, just ten miles from my house. It was founded by Thomas Townsend Brown, who discovered this technology in 1927. It's just the Biefeld-Brown Effect, discovered by a 17-year old Thomas Townsend Brown, in 1927,this is his US Pat. #2,949,550 ELECTROKINETIC APPARATUS, issued August 16th,1960, in countergravitational-mode. No electrostatic propulsion and ion-wind propulsion are two vastly different things. Ion-propulsion needs a medium to ionize, either air, or in vacuum a heavy-gas like xenon. Ion-wind and ion-propulsion has an upper-limit to thrust via simple physics. But, the Electrostatic propulsion of the Beifeld-Brown effect and Bahnson patents give more thrust for less input power, and ther is no limit to thrust, and thrust is non-linear with increasing Voltage, works fine in vacuum, and is inertialess.

My supplier, Bob Iannini, told me in 2003 that a professor in Toky acheived onboard power with a slightly modified version of the piezoelectric HVDC pulsed micro- unite we sell, and a very large lifter; self-powered for less than 6-minutes becore the 3-cell lithium-polymer power-pack exhausted. I'm working on a 3-meter IGV, by commision of my boss, professor Searl, last 2-years. The larger the area of the plates, the greater the effect.

There is no proof on the fact that gravity and electromagnetism are actually linked.
Earth's gravity is caused by its mass pulling on our own, as positive masses attract. Our body is not charged so it would not react to the Earth's electric field caused by the ionosphere, instead it's simple gravity that keeps us on the floor. Keeps the Sun going, too.
BTW: Lightning is caused in the troposphere and lower stratosphere, by built up charges caused by friction in clouds. Do your homework.

So by your own theory, the thing would generate a localized gravitation field? I have nothing to disprove that, but why are other objects in its environment not affected in that case? Fields don't generally have hard boundaries.
I'd imagine a large craft (possibly something powerful enough to lift a person) would really wreak havoc on the objects around it. You don't want to be run over by something like that.

To lift that much weight would require so much Voltage as to make device extremely unsafe, raidiate alot of EM and soft-x-rays, or would require a solid-dielectric. I have smacked thes into the cieling. Working on the 3-meter Searl IGV as time and money permits, at present.

Multiply Voltage times current, and you get your power-output in watts. 40,000 Volts times 1.5mAh = 60Watts, which is nothing. A dim-lite bulb's worth of power per-hour. The SEG or any other device does not "make power out of nothing". Is that "nothing" you're breathing right now? Once it was thoght the air we breathe was "nothing". Nothing is something. The SEG is simply a converter, a rare-Earth-powered two-phase linear induction motors, thad depend on Ohms' law and cooper pairs, an dradial electron-migration to get going. Look a the papers going back 100-years, to Einstein and Laub.

Yes, with Beamship Series electrogravity models, there is a great deal of force, which when directed upward produces appreciable counterbary, or lift = GRAVITY-CONTROL. Yes, but unecessary. Control is always electrodynamic. For horizontal flight, we just shape the model into what I started building in 1990: US Pat#2,949,550, ELECTROKINETIC APPARATUS, which this patent is just that, oriented vertically, for high-lift with much lower power-input than De Seversky's ionocraft, which depends on ion-wind, which is MUCH weaker by orders of magnitude, than the Biefeld-Brown effect.

35-kilowatts would lift a man-carrying device. We need only about 200-Watts to lift crat and power-supply, say, about 200kV @ 1-milliAmpere, or 100kV @ 2-milliAmperes. That is it.

Some time back I saw an article in a Physics Magazine on a new battery in the lab, built with nanotubes. It was a huge capacitor in a small package. The Nano technology capacitor provided fast charge and discharge and I think it achieved a higher energy/weight ratio. Don't know when it will be available.

Thats interesting! Pilots that have reported UFO experiences in flight have reported that the ADF Navigation receivers (190KHZ-1600KHZ) would point at the UFO but the wiskey compass would go in circles and the Gyro's would act up thus the autopilot had to be shut off and all HF and VHF Communication and Navigation receivers would be overcome by static. All of which describes pulsing voltage with a wide bandwith.

Now I'm wondering if pulse forming would make a difference? That is round the edges of the pulse the same way pulse forming networks in RADARs do to fire the Magnatron to reduce radiated bandwidth? What I'm thinking is the harmonics generated by square waves would produce radio waves that would represent some leakage of energy.

Read the data from Purdue University, US ARMY (FORCE ON AN ASYMMETRIC CAPACITOR), and Honda (Takaaki Musha, POSSIBILITY OF A STRONG COUPLING BETWEEN ELECTRICITY AND GRAVITATION). Simple electrodynamics shows the force of ion-wind is several orders of magnitude too small to explain the great force observed, Plus, there is an upper limit to ion-wind force, but there is NO limit to Biefeld-Brown-effect force. Force and acceleration continue, in any direction the capacitor is oriented.

In the vacuum experiments, when the charge is supplied to the system, can the supply be cut off at its peak? If so, what happens after that? does it fly up, smack the ceiling and lose its charge n fall down? or slowly decend? Where do the charges go then? The charge is not directed to the bottom of the structure right? A true gravity-repelling system has to function however it is oriented. Even so, it would not be anti gravity, but at least a breakthrough

This system pulls itself in whatever direction it is oriented, and is a simple asymmetrical capacitor. The foil is pulled violently to the wire, being oppositley charged. Since the anode (wire) and cathode (foil) are oppositely charged to high potentials (at a very low Amperage), coulmbs-forces want to pull the foil to the wire. The foil is more strongly attracted to he wire than vice versa. Since they are held in fixed-relatinship, a unidirectional force is produced.

For rejection of coronal and ion-effects, the capacitor was set in insulator-OIL contained in a metal vessel. Capacitor was circular glass sheet, 1mm thick, 170mm diam. weight+62gm. The specific inductive capacity was 10. They conducted experiments, +DC 18kV, and -DC 18kV, applied to the capacitor.

There is not enough air thrust to deflect a feather-light styrofoam 1" ball, as I showed with the videos of Beamship variation II. If ther is ion-wind, the spark-gap needs to be raised. When the airflow is eliminated, the thrust is typically the highest, and power-consumption the lowest, enabling the lofting of large-heavy-models like this one on less than 60-Watts energy.

With the proper distance-spark-gap, and enogh voltage, or solid dielectric, thesed do indeed work in vacuum, as evicenced by TT Brown's Bahnson Labs 50-year old vacuum-footage, download NASA vacuum-chamber work from 2003 on jlnlabs dot com, and there is other vacuum-footage on youtube. HONDA relased new vacuum-work last summer at the AIAA-symposium. There is not enough ion-thrust to lift the device. Read the theoretical-work by Takaaki Musha.

So how would you get the thing to lift without the wire? and what type of weight can be lifted but i supose weight wouldnt matter as much if this was built in low grav ie space? and do u think this is the strongest source of travel of this type?

You may lift the device with one of our ALPHA piezoelectric power module if you modify it to supply about 200-Watts, and a digital-proportional radio-control system, control pitch and roll by electrically isolating he 3-foil skirts, and vary (-) potential, etc. No limit to the weight lifted, just supply enough Voltage (Wattage).
