hello Godmorning! Why you paint horse at 4:45? I have hamster i some time let smell paint and he very still and calm! (Only when he crazy from living in cage)
thanks so much for what you are doing. horses should be running wild and free everywhere instead of being stuck in a box stall all day. I have a horse and i make sure he is out every chance he gets........ but horses would much rather be running free then to be with the humans!!
BLESS you Mel and Jim. I am reading your 1st book atm. It's wonderful to read such great stories...My dream is to have a horse sanctuary in Australia but it will remain a dream as our land prices are skyrocketing. Land around here for a 100 acers is around 1-2 million dollars.. I have my own collection of rescued horses on my tiny 10 acer block and all are hand fed. I have come across the same abuse and neglected horses here so I relate to your stories well.....
Aw, it does make you wanna go out and do something like that. Its soo good that they were rescued, but its so sad that there are so many of them, i mean all being abused or stuff like that.
i hate those kind of people who abuse animals like that. i luv horses a lot, i cant beleive what they will do to the nicest animals. makes me wanna cry
No, the horses that find their way to Proud Spirit "have given enough" in Melanie's words. They live out the rest of their lives "just being horses" at Proud Spirit. Never sold or adopted out. They form families and bonds that last until they cross over the Rainbow Bridge.
Such a beautiful video and Sanctuary and beautifil horses, in my eyes all horses are beautifil and full of life, thank you so much for helping them. One day I will have my own farm and rescue horses as well and wen I have some money I would be happy to donate. If you ever need a volenteer let me know, If theres a room I will work free indefently :)
Thank-you!!! That anyone can possibly abuse or neglect these majestic animals is something I will never be able to comprehend.Thankfully two amazing individuals like yourselves have the means and heart to make a difference in their lives. For all the evil in this world it is refreshing to be have been introduced to you and I will be reading your books. Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your good works!!
Beautiful video. To think these amazing animals were at one time unwanted until they found their way to Melanie and Jim. Words cannot express my gratitude to them for their courage and devotion. Buy her books and cherish them. They are awesome.
Thankyou Melanie and Jim for all you are and all you do.
I have both books and I read them over & over!! It makes me really happy that the world has great people like Melanie & Jim to take in horses that have been hurt.
It breaks my heart that people have to treat these horses like they do. I mean, come on! It is a wonder that they even let us on their backs!!! It makes me sick to think of people who treat horses like they have no feelings.
Thank you Melanie & Jim! You guys are truely amazing to the horse community and the horses that need you!!
Aren't the little ones the cutest? The smallest, light colored one who turns to the camera (and whose butt is to the camera at the very end) is the famous "Wrangler" from the story of "Marshall and Wrangler the Outlaw", in the Melanie's first book "The Horses of Proud Spirit". Can't you just see his "I'm all that" attitude? He's a cutie!
Melanie and Jim are a blessing to horses and to humans as they remind us of the important and real things in life. The world is a better place because of Proud Spirit.
If I have only one wish in my life, I wish that I live and work in a place like this wonderful sanctuary!I'm so pride of you all, have a heart and have a lifetime for saving animals!
Hey Melanie - good job on the video! Love the little ones running with the big ones.. way to cute! Hope the maining book tour went well! I read one chapter of the new book each night til I finished it...
