  • lol in the begining the hammster in the wheel was like checking every few secs to see if the babies are fine so cute (or at least it looked like it)

  • i fucking hate youtube animal activists. fuck off and die

  • Is the mom working off all the baby weight?

  • how do u keep the mother to not eat them?

  • This is so cute! :'D

Also, when I had baby hamsters, I touched them when they were like 2 days old and the mother didn't eat them... ( I was only like 9) and my next hamster had babies as well and the same cycle happened and she STILL didn't eat the babies... So it depends on how much you handled the mother and how comfortable she is with your scent. If your scent is all over the cage, and then it's on the baby, then it won't be any different and she won't care.

  • Their mother can kill them if you touch a baby hamster. NEVER touch a baby first month

  • @trnsprter123 If separate them till they are old enf to be with their parents, isit okay??

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW <3 your a fucking idiot for touchinh them tho, the mother will and probably did kill 'em! -__-

  • Why're you holding it?! NO!!

  • Ey dont touch the babys then the mother wont recognize them and the mother will leave them like @ 1:35 the mother dosent give a fuck.

  • @erdet78 sigh, people are idiots... that only applies to newborn animals, you're not supposed to take them before the first time the mother gets to smell them. obviously you can touch the baby animal afterward, because the mother knows from that point it's her child. by your logic, humans would never be able to touch any young animal at the risk of the mother neglecting it which is ridiculous... you'd never be able to take a puppy to the vet, or pet a kitten, etc... things people do all the time

  • @skag3n66 hamsters are different if they feel threatned they eat theire own babies i did have over 37 hamphsters(not at one time) and the first babies i tok out of the cage and hold them but the mother wouldent accept the babies and left them and they starved! so stfu............

  • @erdet78 Yeah, like I said, if they are NEWBORNS, and you pick them up before the first chance she has to get their scent, then that will happen. If the mother has already had her first contact with them, it won't. Why don't YOU shut up and learn how to spell "hamster" and all the other words you effed up you dumb twelve year old little piece of shit

  • süß aber zu wenig streu und ich finde es etwS quälend als er auf dem rücken lag und nicht rum kam..

  • thats cute

  • I went on to youtube watching lego gun videos and somehow ended up here...

  • o-o this video is from 2007-- stop giving the person advice XD these hammies are probably all passed away by now..

  • It is recommended you wait two to three weeks before picking up hampster pups -so you do not risk the mother eating the pups. Mom will smell your sent only and may mistake the pup as food -this happens often. I would not risk it for it is heartbreaking to find mommie hampster eating the pups!

  • Wow, your hamsters are all not afraid of you... I find it really hard to make my hamsters not be afraid of me, cause i had past experience of hamster biting me ): I used to not be afraid of them!

  • awwww :)

    now sqwish it :D

  • That prbably wasn't easy... Oh, yeah... you seem to be a pro at hammies.... err... I'm gonna get a pet soon and I need some info... not from google.. err... wait a min, wait a min.. oh yeah! How much is the bedding? and is there a brand anyone can recommend? thanks in advance!

  • more often than not if you touch the litter during the first week or 2 of birth the mother will disown it and usually kill it. be careful

  • Amore di cricetino! Ma è ancora vivo?

  • poor babies :C

  • My manliness has been tested...and I failed :D

  • aaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooohhh, cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • the wheel is too small...

  • If the mother hamster fully trusts you its fine, I had hamsters for over 5 years and one of the moms even brought the newborns to my hand to watch, after some time she would come pick them up again. ^-^ If you have a hamster that fully trusts you and she knows your scent then its mostly safe to touch them. But never touch them if you aren't sure. indeed she could kill them then.

  • you have to separate them because its parents will eat it.

  • 1:32 Big Boss Hamster: "Get out of my way, bitch" LMAO

  • Should u be holding him when he's pink? I don't think so...

  • OH MY GOD THAT IS SOOOOOO FUCKING CUTE

  • awwwwwwwwwwww

  • momas working off the baby fat on the threadmill ;)

  • how did i get here i was watching brusspup videos nvm..

  • Are they a campbell colony? Why are there so many adult hams around?

  • they cant hold then or touch them yet untill there 2 wks ols peops

  • its fine to touch dwarf hamster babies at 2 - 3 weeks you tards. honestly if you get a hamster most people should know that. i learned that before i even got my dwarf male and im not even breeding. dont say shit out ur ass if you don't know please :D

  • So helpless...

  • seriously?? rite now, the baby hams at my house are soo small!! can't imagine theyd turn that big in one week!! wooooow!!! :3

  • People who are saying this is wrong should get a life! You can handle them if you are careful and the mother is ok with it. Never take a hamster though if the mother dosen't seem to want you to take it.

  • omg!!!!! your an idot. !!!!!!. if the mother smells the human sent it will eat all the babies.

  • @Al123456ize read the top comments...

  • RETARD THUMBS UP IF U AGREE!!

  • @megaman24448 Ill thumbs you up if that retard is you

  • @zashamiyadejah i sure hope ur wrong...... :( its to cute to die!!!!

  • wow that thing is very very tiny

  • well...did he died or not? o.O

  • So cute and not...fluffy...I COULD DIE! And it won't die, that's actually a common misconception. Animals reject their young if they're sick (and that's why we shouldn't touch baby animals that have "fallen out of the nest"). I've rescued many baby birds, and the mother has taken them LL back, The have a tendency to fall into our window well while learning to fly and I have to pick them up to help them.

  • NUM NUM NUM NUM NUM

  • @zashamiyadejah its not ganna die its a new born baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @VistiFilmz its gone die cos you cant touch a new born baby because the mother will now think its not hers and she will eat it

  • Animals will not reject their young because a human touched them. That is an old wives tale, like saying that you'll cramp up and die from eating and then swimming.

    It's shenanigans.

  • does anybody know how to stop hamsters from givin birth???

  • @decepticon500 yes...dont put a female and male together.

  • @decepticon500

Get them neutered/spayed. Or segregate by gender.

  • Actually, U CAN touch them. If They are tamed and know ur scent. :) Especially Robo hamster babies.

  • Спасибо !!! Вы хоршие люди!!!!

  • all of it is food for my snake

  • alls i see is snake food for my corn snake

  • can i ask y can't we touch a new born hamster..??

  • @CatEyedAtieq666 aperintly the mothe will neglect them or eat them u can touch them when they grow there hair when there about 1 to 2 weeks

i started with 13 and have 13 and its been 2 and a half weeks and i touch them all the time

  • @CatEyedAtieq666 cos it gets to atached to the smell and might think ur its mother

  • @zashamiyadejah

I bet it already died, since this video was posted in 2007 and hamsters only live up to about 2 years.

  • yo use gloves to touch them !! ass hole

  • Ahhhhhhh it's so cute

  • der arme wird sterben / ist gestorben du BLÖDE MISSGEBURT ICH SPERR DICH EIN HAST EIN ANER MACKE?

  • dude now the moms gonna eat it

  • why are there so many other hamsters (other than babies and mum) in the cage

  • 1 week old is fine to touch the baby hamster i think. see how it has fur? the mums won't/ can't eat them at this age

  • omg the other 2 down below are so tinyyy!

  • Le fuc is that big hamster in the wheel doing? RUNRUNRUN *stop* look around RUNRUNRUN *stop* look around RUNRUNRUN!

  • I need 78 bullets..

  • That's so cute;)

  • @zashamiyadejah if human touch baby hamster he dies?

  • @TheImbaTroll it is how the baby smells after it was touched by a human. the mother won't accept it as her own baby - perhaps she will see a free meal in it :(

  • Today I found my hamster with babies.

I'm freaking out like crazy now.

  • @Ginteru congratulation new hamsters!. Take it with care do not put them on a cold&hot weather .and dont touch them!

  • @Anggiclassicerz I read like 7 different articles on the Internet on baby hamsters, 70% of the content was stressing out the importance of leaving the mother and the babies alone. Thanks anyway.

  • wait. why can't you touch baby hamsters?

  • Comment removed

  • @staringischaring I hope you don't actually believe that

  • @bouncyballblue I think your not suppose to touch them because your scent rubs off on the baby and then the mother kills them. but i'm not 100% sure on that

  • Just another blond girl which killed the hamsters baby.

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee =)

  • it depends. i had a hamster with babies and the vet said it depends. so u never know. but dont take the risk

  • Why the hell r u touching all of them? Sorry but they all gonna die! :(

  • are u wolverine ¿?

  • Comment removed

  • süüüüüüß

  • cambiale el acerrin , pobre hamster ..

  • they dont even have enough bedding!!!!!!!!! poor hamsters.

  • His pap is gonna eat HIM!

  • YOUR SO STUPID ITS GONNA DIE...THE PARENTS ARE GONNA EAT IT!!!! :'[

  • i thought the parents ate the babies not that i know much about them...

  • DONT TOUCH THE POOR THING! :'{

  • Dear people saying "UR SO STOOPID U DONT TUCH DEM UNTIL DEYRE 2 WKS OLD",

That is the safe age to get them out. While it is risky to get them out before their eyes open, if the mother is tame and was handled from a young age it's probably OK. I personally wait until their eyes open but the mother is handled while she's nursing anyway, so the smell of me will get onto the babies via her.

    Sincerely,

Somebody who has experience and didn't just google it.

  • @oopqooify so...since you know so much about that let me ask you a question. my hamster gave birth a few days ago and i wanna keep one. can i let them together in the same cage? most ppl say that i have to seperate them but i already have 3 so i can't have any more

  • @PEACE63641 It depends on the kind of hamster you have. If they're syrian hamsters, the babies need to be taken away from the mother when they're about 4 weeks old. The babies should be seperated depending on their gender, and when they get to about 3 months old they urgently need to be seperated if they haven't found homes already. At about that age, they really start getting territorial. Dwarf hamsters are sociable, though, and it's best for them to have company of the same sex.

  • @oopqooify looks like i wont be able to keep one :(

    thanks for your time

  • @oopqooify That is true, if u touch them the mom would probly eat the babies.

My lived with my cousin when we were young and we played with the baby hamsters. the next morning found baby hamster skulls in the cage :(

  • ARE YOU STUPID?!

  • let it back on its front then

  • "MOVE BITCH !!" lmao

  • You're not supposed to touch them until after they are weaned... I can guarantee it was eaten by its mother shortly afterwards because of the human smell...

  • oh wis is so süss

  • 1:36 "outta my way, brat!!" lol

  • im reporting this for animal abuse.

  • Get a cage for just the mom and pups. It is best to leave the mom to do her thing. Place strips of toilet paper in the cage so mom can build a soft nest. Don't try to handle the babies at all for at least two weeks. It is okay to have a quick peek in the cage on occasion, but don’t sit and watch for long periods. It is rarely necessary to move a baby though even if they are out of the nest; the mom will usually retrieve any stray pups and return them to the nest.

  • @zashamiyadejah already is it has been over four years

  • hamster mom will eat him because u touched him.... it smells like u and not like the mother and so she eat him....

  • @ToopackFromAugu thats a lie

  • @XxTaylored1224xX are u sure? =o

  • @XxTaylored1224xX No it's not. Look it up.

They aren't supposed to be touched until after they've been weaned; and mother hamsters really do eat them if they smell strange.

  • @punksk8r1792 IKR XD sorry i like to carry arguments on

  • @shamshamwoohoo1 Lol. Ok.

  • i have mixed feelings about this.... it is cute... and then I know that the mom ate the baby.... >.>

  • I had a couple hamsters a few years ago. Every time they had babies the mother would eat them. What's up with that???

  • @heymikey59 watch this vid, did u hold them??

  • This is cruelty to animals.

  • @Crystalina7274 How? Shut up you PETA extremist.

  • I had a winter White hamster the same colour and wanted to breed it but couldn't wish I did though

  • Now you have to be it's mama and feed it very often and keep it in a small warm container between times.

  • YOU IDIOT! UR NOT SUPPOSED TO TOUCH IT!

  • @MasterChief117Kills too late now this video is over 4 years old this hamster is dead
