Hello, i have one little problem here: my cellular displacement divisions seem less sharps than yours, also the cells are convex instead of flat like yours, so my rock doesnt look like a ''fragment'', if you get what i mean. Do you know what are the values i need to change in order to fix that, i think i tried everything but it wont work. thanks.
hello, can anyone explain me what is the difference between putting your material into your material editor as an INSTANCE, or as a COPY ? I know the difference between an instance and a copy but i dont understand what this has to do with the material editor.
dude this si a killer tutorial relly relaistic result,but i question pls,if i wanted to make the stone look rectangular rather than so jagged,what modyfier could i use?for example like a stone from the pyramids.
@inquestFLASH .. use a box as a start instead of a sphere. do not spherify it. and then just leave out the first displacement modifier the has the cellular map in it. that should do the trick somehow. you will always have to try out different settings inside the modifiers and maps though.
I have to say that you are the worst teacher ever. Can you slow down for 2 seconds to allow people to catch up. So they don't have to pause every 5 seconds! F@%K! Watch the Lynda seies and learn from tehir techniques.

In the material Editor i used for they Cell Characteristics by size a valluey of 1100,0 and not 110,0 because when i used 110 they map is do small that i can't see so much different. But with a value of 1100 i have they same result how you. Did you know why this is so? perhaps because i use V-ray or i have wrong unit setups?
It's really hard to follow at 2:21 with the properties at the very bottom of the screen at tiny size... I did manage to get through that part, but I had to replay several times.
@1F3RN4L hi infernal, i cannot understand what you write, but google translate, tells me, that you dont get the material part? you have to pause the video and set the material accordingly. i cannot get so slow in a video, that everybody will find the values and set them in, while the video is playing. sry for that mate
