  • I first saw this in 7th grade and I couldn't stop myself laughing!

  • hey

    where did the spill go?

  • Auburn and I just shot another commercial! Once again he gets damaged! I cant wait for the editing to be finished!

  • First thing I saw when I started career school in the chemistry line. It's forever embedded into my skull.

  • Violation!

Growing a goatee does in fact make you cool.

  • 389 days = 1 year, 0 months, and 29 days. I know math, not Lab Safety. You taught me though :)

  • a soon as my teacher was telling us the mini shower in the lab in case you get acids on you im like sir but wont that make a puddle and hes like ok which is more important your eyes oor the puddle on the floor and the whole class is laughing i felt tight

  • today my science teacher showed us this in the science lab

  • I saw this in School. I cracked up.

  • He didn't bandage his foot.

  • @ParamoreLover103 Me too

  • I am glad my biology teacher showed me this.

  • When I saw this today, I laughed so hard, I alomost had a tummyache! I'm ROTFLMAO!

  • Appreciate the work, used it in my science class to introduce the lab safety section. I did cut out the part with the bible verse, though. Not sure why that's in there.

  • @Stoptherobots What bible verse?? Am I missing this, I would like to show this tomorrow.

  • @Stoptherobots Never-mind I found it.... so how did you cut that part out?

  • @reese43121 Hope this finds you in time. When it got to the end of the first section, before the fast forwarding, I just jumped ahead to 3:35. Said nothing to my classes about skipping ahead, just did it, and no one questioned it.

  • @Stoptherobots I would assume that's because this video was originally commissioned for a Christian school rather than a public one.

  • @Stoptherobots And the point of the verse was to illustrate the fact that this guy got cocky about assuming he could *never* have an accident. And what did his pride get him? ;-)

  • IT BURRRRNS!!!

  • @ParamoreLover103 So did mine lol

  • Did anyone notice that the sign said 'Safety GOOGLES' rather than 'GOGGLES'?

  • @98JMA This was noticed in post-production, but it was too late at that point. Thank you, however, for pointing out this error to the rest of the world two years after the release of the video. :)

  • @98JMA lol mee

  • Surely the isopropanol would do the cut on his foot good?

  • can u guys show the dead bodeis that are in the lab?

  • @ilovelegoes If you order the DVD, they are in the 'deleted scenes/outtakes' section.

  • I'm the "All-Saints Academy" voice. I'm famous on the internet!

  • talk about a bad day...

  • very clever. u might like The WHMIS Warble, a youtube parody of chemical safety also

  • i watched this at school today i laffed my ass off

  • this is an isanely funny video

  • i watch this in our class i was really laughing

  • Thanks- I showed this to my QC Lab people.

  • the chemical bubbling is caused by the chalk Calcium Carbonate reacting with acetic acid or vinegar lol

  • @spotlightman1234 Well in my class i can to watch fairly high concentration of Acetic acid desolving stuff it class o.O would the concentration effect if the solution made a diffrence if the bubbles are acidic, or would the material change so much that it wouldnt be harmfull anymore? Since as i know most labs buy very potant stuff, becuase it costs less, and takes up less room, then they add water to dilute it for lab use, or food use :P

  • I showed this to my undergrads today in Quantitative Analysis- it's hard to find the old safety vids with blood in them anymore. As far as I'm concerned, if there's no blood, it ain't a safety video.

  • My teacher had us watch this in class.

I find it quite hilarious. XD

  • Mr. Thompsons awesome. Actually makes Chemistry fun. Fasinatings stories.Yay sceince! I love the video especially were he sets himself on fire! Yay fire!

  • LOL ! best science homework ever.. our teacher made us watch this, and bring in a random item from home.. fun times :)

  • ha i think were in the same class

  • A very entertaining and also informative video. I was wondering if a DVD copy of this is available, as it would be great to show grade 9 and 10 students when covering lab safety.

  • WOW! That is still hilarious! Do you have a copy of the DVD? I think I erased my master copy when I switched computers. My favorite part was the next day when you had the burn on your hand and we just laughed and luaghed ( me a little bit more). My least favorite part was when you told me your room didn't actually have a drain for the shower.

  • love it

  • this never gets old. i'm glad you put it on here so i can watch it all the time!

  • Lol!! Accident after accident
