Concert goers to DMB gets so excited that they just scream to just scream. Often it makes no sense. The of the announcement at Staples Aug 19, 2008 of Roi's death, the people cheer. I think they only realized what he said a few minutes after. Then they went crazy and started climbing over one another to go get more beer. They then just wanted to be wasted. The news didn't feel good. It's on their new DVD "Scenes from "Big Whiskey". RIP LeRoi.

What's wrong with those people? Why can't they shut up? Are there actually people cheering when he says "we've lost our dad"?

I don't think they are cheering because he lost his dad, but more out of support for his loss and the cuase as well.
