  • Legend

  • We're all just trying to get by you know Baha D Boy Dill.

  • I hate LP scratches

  • @ChadC919 I am not a fast DJ.

  • Real DJ's are all in my head.

  • crazy how people can do this on vinyl. ppl now just have to tap buttons

  • Now That's what I Want to see when I go to a Bad Boy Show. The last time I saw him in Milwaukee I don't think I heard any Seriously technical Turntable work.

I got goose bumps watching this!

  • Bad Boy Bill is singlehandedly the reason I ever took up DJing. Hes evolved as much as music has since his time as a DMC competitor. Still love the Bangin' The Box series :D

  • did he actually whip it out?

  • anyone know the first name of the song?

  • check out (bad boy bill 1989)

  • they dont scratch like they used to :D

  • look at those skills...

  • HAHA Bad Boy Bill Doing GlitchStep before there was ever DubStep!!!!!!

  • Wow!!! I did not know he competed in DMC back in the day...

Much props!! I used to look up to him back in the Hard House days here in LA!!!

  • Thumbs up if you're watching this on 3009

  • love this manual labor!

  • omfg.....when this came out i was TEN....lol i might as well b a walking billboard for the man, im caught in his house with no hope of release aww, just like heaven, love you my favie dj

  • but tiesto is not a turntableist or a scratcher......different type of dj's get ur into stright

  • @djkoeib Bad Boy Bill is a house DJ that employs turntablist techniques into his mixing. They are both very much electronic music DJs. This vid is the one time BBB competed in DMC competition, part of his roots. He travels now spinning house, not trance like Tiesto, but still very much dance music. But yeah, Bad Boy mops the floor with Testiclose. Any mediocre DJ can let a record play and stare out into the crowd smiling and clapping. Bad Boy Bill is constantly bringing sounds in and out

  • I LOVE bill... I've never heard tiesto live or really seen footage of him spinning. I've watched bill spin in front of him live several times. I'm always impressed and bill is awesome! fan forever baby.

  • Well i just came back from vegas and heard dj tiesto and after listening to all the concerts he have apear on in vegas this pass year if u heard the youtube videos it seems like he plays a recording they all sound the same and the mixes are identical it sucks cause i really though he was playing live. In the other hand i am oldschool house is the music i really like whats happend to the bitch dj irene? She was great too the arena night club good ass memories.

  • Man, turntablism & house music go together great! I try to do it myself but I'm not that great at it. It's a lot of fun though, especially juggling bangin' techno beats...TECHTABLISM!!! Peace out...DJTrueSoul.

  • Love looking at you from the 80's.

    Man.

It just shows why you are a powerful man. One Love

    One Fan

    LiL*EGO.

  • Wat een baas.

  • Tony Bitoy Production , RIVIERA Night Club , baby i still remember the good old days ..........HOUSE MUSIC= CHI-TOWN BABY ..!!! Amor De Rey !!!

  • A brief reason why Chicago Dj's are the best Dj's.

  • @g1a1h1: Damn right! Also, have you noticed that when DJs who come out of Chicago and move to another city they shine and take over their new city? For example..Mark Farina (San Francisco); To Kool Chris (Los Angeles); DJ Sneak (Toronto); DJ Lego had a nice run in Paris until he got home-sick and moved back to Chicago (missed that Puerto-rican food, LoL). But yeah, that's cause DJs everywhere else are O.K., but in the end, they can't compare with a ChiTown DJ..

  • hes a dog

  • That shit looks so complex!!! Bad Boy Bill rocks!!!

  • Absolutely epic!

  • it's like fastforward

  • those fucking sweaters. you can definitely tell this is from the 80's

  • something weird:

i was searching in my uncle`s bedroom (as usual xD he has epic stuff there)

and i found his cassete of bangin the box and i was like:

i thought it was a beatbox cassete

but its volume 2 or 3 i think

  • lol....bad boy bill has come a long way. reminds me of craze when he first entered in the early 90's then came back to win the title's and blow up years later.

  • MAKE THA NOISE! I used to have this stuff on betamax cassette, yeah

  • my fav. Scratcher, after him comes DJ Q-Bert

  • CHI Town Baby!!! He the reason i began to DJ... he the man..

  • The name of the song is called The Wrath Of Kane by Big Daddy Kane. It originally came out about October/November 1988 on Cold Chillin' Records. I hope this helps.

  • THIS IS EPIC.

  • the guy in the beggining sounds alot like jack bowler.

  • Hmm so this is where Jazzy Jeff got that set.

  • anyone remember his tune acid sexx?

  • on bad boy bill mixes hip hop and house, tiesto produces trances... thats liek saying that the space shuttle is better than a ferari because it flys faster than the car can drive...???

  • CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE SONG THAT COMES OUT ON 1:47 I BEEN LOOKING FOR YEARS TO FIND DAT SONG PLEASE HELP A OLD SCHOOL HELPER OUT

  • Comment removed

  • american house music originated in chicago....nevermind what you were told.

  • holly shit

  • Calm down, boys. Maybe TheRussianrunner just mixed up housemusic with this technostuff.

Everybody should know, that house originated from the US (my favorite is the Detroit Style^^).

On the other hand the most producers in the US doesn't really seperate techno and house from each other, while here in europe they are two different musicstyles.

Nevertheless, back 2 topic: Great music, astonishing skillz and a funny and entertaining set! Amazing end :D

  • I wonder what else he could do with such long fingers, thumbs up if you agree with me ;-)

  • hahahahah i was not expecting him to pull that out hahha

  • I love Bad Boy Bills Dj Culture ;) i´m a fan hehehe

  • @ 3:10...BBB shows the f@ck out!!

  • from 89' gotta love it he still kills it.

  • Thats my man throwing down! BBB and the Bad Ass Bitches..cant wait to see him on the 15th in Milwaukee at the Rave!!

  • BAD BOY BILL KILLS DJ TIESTO ANY DAY...THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE..

  • @DJPROCK Tiesto is not a good dj. A good producer if you like that genre. Not a dj though at all.

  • @DJPROCK DJ skills without a doubt. On the other hand, Tiesto is a genius at producing. But you're right BBB is OG

  • @DJPROCK totaly agree. bad boy for ever. best house dj.... best dj period ;)

  • @DJPROCK Dude come on, they are WAAAAAAY two different styles they play in their sets and respectively are the best at this. Tiesto is the Titan of Trance and BBB is and will always be the baddest on the block in the house community. I grew up listening to this guy and I agree that he's the best just not in this competition

  • BBB is a truely a bad ass on decks,he is one of those guys who could probably play any type of music he wanted. He rocks on three decks,he can scratch like a complete madman, and his live set should not be missed. He is a true DJs DJ.I've never been a fan of any type of trance,To me trance is the pop music of techno. I've never heard more than 2 or 3 min of Tiesto however I've read he is playing and putting himself out there. So you could consider him the popstar of techno.

  • @DJPROCK: No doubt about it!!! Too bad all this bull-shit Trance, Electro and Progressive Sub-genres of HOUSE have taken over the world and the Club scene. It's pathetic! We need to bring back HOUSE!! Clean HOUSE, without the gimmicks, and the Pitbull's, and the Ne-Yo's, and T.I.'s, and the Justin Timberlakes, etc. etc...

  • @rob5hh Trance is not s Sub Genre of House. Trance is a Sub Genre of Electronic Music. Same as House. But you are right, they should be separate. I don't want house in my Trance. And on the occasion I do listen to house, I don't want Trance in it.

  • @voices141: "Trance is not a Sub-genre of HOUSE"? That may be, but Trance is still very much inspired by HOUSE. Tiesto, David Guetta, Benny Benassi, Paul Van Dyk and many others were inspired by DJs like Bad Boy Bill who set off the HOUSE sound on an international level.

  • @DJPROCK

they ar both great imo different styles , bbb is a great scratcher, but tiesto is world wide knonw for his beats , he make his own music

  • @DJPROCK it's because Tiesto is NOT a dj, he is a just showman. Lots of teenagers are sure that he is a DJ although it's not trueth. He is a fucking asshole!

  • @DJPROCK Don't get me wrong, I hate Tiesto, but why would you even compare these two? When is the last time you saw Tiesto in a competition. There are many kinds of djs, some pride themselves on solid blends and being an excellent selektah. Even so Bad Boy Bill is god damned sellout. He plays the worst type of house music today, he should shack up with David Guetta and have sex with him.

  • does anyone have da whole playlist he jus mixed?

  • best dj ever

  • the host looks rad

  • CAAAANNNN UUU FEEELL IIIITT??

    CANNNNNUUU FFFEEELLLEEI IIITTT??

this shit is badass! Str8 ill! Turntablism at its best

  • is it me, or did he mess up at 2:12?

  • Baby Boy Bill! 89, lol!

  • Mannn,,, back in the day. Riveira Night Club, Tony Batoy Productions. BBB the originator of the fast scratch. VRP...INC.

    BATTTTYYYY BOYYYYYY

  • @FXSane Just wondering what he was doing.

  • YEAH HOUSE WAS BORN IN CHI TOWN

  • HE IS DA DJ GOD

  • fresh dope set did he win?

  • BAD BOY BILL IS A LEGEND!

  • That's when DJing was DJing. It seems DJing has become alot easier due to technology but hey thats just the way it is.

  • @movistar915 Your right! It's actually become quite FAKE, alot of these new school computer mixers(I can't even bring myself to call them dj's) don't have the skill of the old school dj's! Now they use all these lame computer programs to make their mixes! True skill is doin it live on the 1's and 2's!!! And that's the bottom line!!! No excuses!!!

  • wow ! and no one else noticed that the chick at the end tried to toss his salad on stage ?!? is that normal ??

  • his fingers are fucking long !!! lol

  • House originated in Chicago, Illinois in the early 1980s. It was first in Chicago, then in Detroit, New York City, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Miami. It then reached Europe before becoming infused in mainstream pop and dance music worldwide since the early to mid-1990s.

  • yea! what drug r u on? house music is totally from Chicago, do ur research cuz!!

  • RUSSIANBUMMER!!! GET UR SHIT STRAIGHT..CHI- TOWN

  • CHICAGO STAND THE FUCK UP

  • bad boy is one of the greatest spinners for house , most people at the clubs hate on him cause they dont understand beat juggling when he spins. but the guy wrecks and spins great Ive seen him many times , I wish I could of caught him and humpty vission doing a set together

  • @TheRussianrunner - You have it wrong pal! House Music originated from Chicago and Chicago only. Every place else, including Europe copied the style. The term "house music" is from the Chicago nightclub called The Warehouse which existed from 1977 to 1982. Do your research before yapping your mouth!

    CHI-TOWN BABY!!

  • @jpriw298 and it was made to cater to black people, latinos and gays, enjoy your music.

  • @kmaelen So was your mom.

  • @jpriw298 you are quite immature, all your raging comments shows this, maybe you should grow up.

  • @kmaelen You come on my channel and make a racially discriminatory comment and I'm immature? Quit trolling if you can't handle the responses.

  • @kmaelen Hey dumb ass do you realize without those people you mentioned there would be no House Music. Your a dumb ass racist, what do you know about Real House Music! Apparently nothing! Learn the History of the music before you open your mouth cause you sound like a MORON!!!

  • @jpriw298 HOUSE is universel

FRANCE = Frenchtouch (House with disco cut sample ect)

ENGLAND = UK Garage (Dub with bassline ect)

    SLAVE CONTRY ... = EURODANCE

BALTIMORE = B-more (House beat with Rap vocals)

ect ect ect ect and ect Chicago Mecque of HOUSE Okey !!! but in 2010 is over, the real chicago house is dead in 93

  • @Houroumov “House Music is a universal language spoken and understood by all.”

To say that Chicago House is “Dead” is the same as calling the whole house genre “dead”. Without Chicago, House Music would be non-existent. In all reality, every player in this House game, owes their entire career to Chicago. And as far as your house genre definitions, I appreciate your honest approach but your knowledge of House music is as advanced as your spelling.

  • @Houroumov FrenchTouch (French House): In Chicago, we've blending disco tracks with a harder much faster 4/4 beat since 1981.

UK Garage: Congratulations! You sped up Garage House and put a UK in the name.

Eurodance: 2 words = Bubble Gum

B-more: Fuck That! It's called Hip House! Artists like 2 Young Brothers, Fast Eddie, Kool Rock Steady, Mr. Lee, Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock, Tyree Cooper & White Knight to name a few.

  • @Houroumov I end with this.

“Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all Jackers together under one house!

You may be black, you may be white, you may be Jew or Gentile.

It don’t make a difference in our house. And this is fresh!”

  • @jpriw298 I'm French dude ... and Youtube it's not a english class ...

  • @jpriw298

Tell em brotha, ChiTown house, OG, cant touch our shit

  • @jpriw298 thats right!!!!!!!!!

  • @jpriw298 I'm loving the chi-town pride! Way to stick up for the home of house music!

  • @jpriw298 I think it is awesome that House music originated from Chicago same place that jazz did. And house music is based on jazz anyways.

  • @jpriw298 AMEN

  • @jpriw298 THANK YOU!!!!! IM tired of hearing these european a**holes saying they started house music!!

It's nice to know that some of us still the know were it originated =]

  • @TheRussianrunner House Music originated in Chicago buddy. Europe has been running off with it in the past decades but early listeners of disco, r&b, and soul first created it.

  • @TheRussianrunner Are you a complete idiot!!! House Is all Chicago!!! We created and cultivated it!!! Learn Your History! IDIOT!!!

  • unfassbar dieser typ wahnsinn
