@HIDETCHI I just received the book. Even in year-end, the delivery time announced by Nekomado were respected (I don't know in Japan, but in France, deliveries are often late in year-end)! I start now reading this book, and I'll make a review as soon as possible :-)
I'm from Malaysia and I would like to buy this book and the basic shogi set at nekomado but they doesn't deliver to asian countries, are there any ways to get them?
Tip: For Japanese yen, just take off the final two zeros and you get an approximate price in USD.
So it is cheaper to order from Nekomado I think, since it is approx 12 USD compared to 20 USD from ShogiUSA. However, if Nekomado is shipping from Japan, then the shipping costs would make it much more expensive.
100 yen is like a dollar in Japan, in Japan, they don't have have dollar stores, they have 100 yen shops. Just think of it like a country where every talks in pennies instead of dollars.
@dyklk1 That's wrong. It used to be like that, but the yen has been getting stronger and the dollar has been getting weaker. For example, 1,000 yen is now about $12 or $13. As you mentioned, they ship from Japan, so shipping is expensive. I believe that ShogiUSA offers a better deal with faster service than Nekomado does for US residents. Also, soon Nekomado will stop accepting orders that total less than 10,000 yen, so ShogiUSA will be the only place to get single copies for a good price.
I wish there ware a way to ship them to other countries, out of the USA in America, a lot of people would like to have it

Also bought "side line attack" of one glance series. Very useful, too.

I just bought Japanese version. very useful.
The pity is that not many people play shogi in Taiwan, that's why I learn a little bit of Japanese, so that I can read Japanese documents.

@hirohiigo Yes, I agree with hirohiigo. 1 dollar = 75 JPY.

@dyklk1 By the way, ordering from ShogiUSA also benefits shogi promotion in the US. :)
