I can't do it on expert without using star power. :/ I always fail when the second solo part comes around. I end up getting around 80-90,000 by using star power...I've gotten 194,000 now with 98% notes hit on hard. I've been whammying like crazy. I think it may be possible, but it's difficult.

You can use star power in the real ending if you're going for the achievement. Just make sure the song ends before the Star Power does.
