  • the newer models that your tractor became. The models 7000 and 7100 were the base followed by the engine size. ie 7016 7017 7118 ect. I have a sovereign and landlord. the difference between the 7000 and 7100 is the stretched frame. the rest of the parts interchange

  • my father had a Simplicity dealership from the mid 1960s until his death in the 90s. I still run a Simplicity Mower but they are 7000 and 7100s. They are the same with the exception of the 7100 having a stretched frame by about 8 inches

  • @BornRandy62 Do you mean between the 7000 and 7100 series or did you mean the same as my Landlord only longer? Closer inspection would show you that your later model machines frames are inverted compared to the older models. 1973 marked the total redesign to incorporate the new frame which is configured "up side down" in comparison to the older tractors. I would be happy to shoot a video comparing the frames if you would like. Thanks for the many comments Randy!! Cheers!

  • @ZippoVarga i love the ag tiresa great job zippo

  • Nice rim covers!

  • damn that one really nice tractor

  • In case you don't know it, that's Larry the Cable Guy, doing a short production stint for Only In America!

  • needs come control arms to help keep down tht side to side swing though,,, nice vid!

  • @bilihuset He's a brick layer. Been slinging heavy bricks most of his adult life....I bet you're right!! lol

  • kinda looks like a bear riding a tricycle!

  • you def got the clothes right haha!

  • @ND4SPD16Y8 lol....That's my Brother. I was behind the camera!! We both have the "Git r Done" outfits to go along with our machines. Thanks for the comment!!

  • I would love to have one of those plows to put behind my John Deere 30hp 790 tractor. If I can find one used one here I will get it. I love the video and the way that tractor cut up the dirt so easily.

  • Hey Sidney!! With that much of a tractor you should be able to get a two bottom plow and pull it just fine. Twice the work done with a single pass!! Do a search on youtube for "two bottom plow".....you should come up with quite a few videos. Then, get your local auto trader and keep an eye open for old farm, garden equipment. I paid 75 dollars for my plow and for the one in this video. Mine is a Brinly and the one on my tractor here is a Simplicity made by Brinly. Good Luck!!

  • @ZippoVarga Thanks. That sound like a good price to me and I have seen some used plows locally and will see if I can get them for that price. It would be great to find a two plow setup too so I don't have to make as many passes.

  • @semco72057 A 2 bottom plow would load a 30HP pretty hard in new ground or ground that has laid up for years.. It can be done though, just don't expect the 2 bottom to pull like butter behind a 30HP, a 35 - 40 HP will work a 2 bottom great.

  • @Fentanyl3 Thanks for that information. I was wondering about that and figured that if I did try to plow up the ground I would probably have to keep the plow up some and go over the area twice due to the size of my engine.

  • @semco72057 With a one bottom plow I wouldn't worry about your tractor not pulling the load. The tractor in this video has a 9hp and breaks new ground like it was warm butter. You've got plenty of power. I have my plow adjusted to a depth of 6 inches. It self levels when adjusted right, so you can set the depth how ever you please and let the plow drag behind you and it will only cut as deep as you set it. No need to ride the height adjustment from the tractor rear 3 point. Good Luck!! Cheers!!

  • @ZippoVarga That is probably what I will get for my tractor. I have been looking for one locally, and there is one company out of North Carolina which sells the new ones where I may get a new one from. I hope you all get enough rain there so you will have a great crop.

  • @semco72057 Thanks! I hope your able to break ground and get in a good season as well!!

  • still got my 89 john deere probably gettin a new model for sure but she works well but you gotta keep it running for about 2 minutes before working with. other than that shes good to me

  • I still want to get hold of a plough and made it fit my MTD garden tractor. Should be do-able.

That thing does a really nice job.

  • Thanks Chunk!! I have since gotten a 12 inch one bottom plow and that plow went to my buddy Chris....the guy riding my old Landlord.

  • what does the 8" and 10" and 12" mean? is that how wide the moldboard is?

  • That's how tall the plow blade it self is. Measure from the bottom edge to the tallest point and you've got the plow size.

  • oh, ok. thanks zippo.

  • @ZippoVarga

I can't see anywhere, the hp, and plow inch ?

  • The tractor is powered by a 23D 9HP Briggs and Stratton engine and it's pulling a 10 inch bottom plow

  • lol, i jsut got a plow for my tractor on wednesday, and tried it out and i love it. it was the first time i have ever plowed my garden with a tractor.

  • I'm the only one with a plow in my neighborhood. When the word got around I found my self with lots of really friendly and needy neighbors...lol.

  • lol, 2 of my buddies came up yesterday and saw it so now they want their gardens plowed and so does an old lady that lives at the end of the road. i enjoy using it though.

  • @ZippoVarga I bet they knew that they had found a way to get their garden plowed up with your tractor and plow. I would love to have one like that myself. I saw one on one web site and they are costly. I have plenty of land and would love to use some of it as a garden.

  • Good Job Love the old simplicitys thats why I have 3 myself!!!

  • i still love that tractor!!!!

  • Have you got a spare plow for a fellow Allis guy. I put in a hell of a big garden and would love to have that adjustable depth plow Allis sold with the B series. I had to watch one sell at auction recently.I didnt have any cash. My B1 needs one bad.

  • Larry the Cable Guy...get-r-done in the garden! Just kidding. Very nice set-up. I wish I had a garden plow and disc for my John Deere 130.

  • You should be able to use any of the brinly lines of discs and gravely or brinly plows with your 130s rear implement hitch set up. Good luck with your goal! Of course.....you COULD just go get a Simplicity or Allis-Chalmers....lol.

  • i either want to get a plow like that or a disc....or just build myself a cultivator with discs and shovels on it

  • u should make a video on how to plow a garden with a garden tractor

  • I plowed, turned and tilled a new garden for a neighbor this past Spring and I should have video taped it! Oh well, there's always next season.

  • Both are nice workers. I like the older Sears machines.

  • Nice tractor I have a simplicity broadmoor and a 1977 sears suburban ss twin.

  • nice little tractor you got

  • Thanks..She's one of 7 Simplicity/Allis Chalmers in my collection. 4 are 1964 models, one 1961, one 1959 and a 1970. Plus two early 1960s that are awaiting their chance to be resurected.

  • how many hp is she?

  • 9hp 23D cast iron briggs. 4 of my 7 have this same engine. Pretty durable and dependable engines for being over 40 years old.
