@afcyrus thats the point. NAFtA and other "free" trade agreements destablize economies in places like Mexico, compelling workers to flee north to make mone to pa bills back home. migrant workers, just like domestic workers, have little control over their jobs and government. we should fight with them against bloated parasites who wreck whole countries to get rich, not each other. remember, political representation is a human right, not an american right
Like she would be any worse than the know-nothings currently in power. She is in one of my classes at Cal State Long Beach and she appears far more intelligent and ready to help us than anyone in California State Legislature today. What did she say in this clip that is untrue? NOTHING.
@sleepeeg3 Oh so hilarious there. Well I can more easily trust the person running for office whose plans for the state I may not necessarily agree with--but are out in the open--over the ones who make the talk radio rounds and flat out lie about what they do or don't stand for. Meg Whitman was a perfect example of this. Her am640 radio appearance on the John and Ken show was lie after lie on her stance on illegal immigration. So the candidate it this video wants to lower the voting age
@sleepeeg3 and give illegals the right to vote. Yeah, big deal. Is it any more shocking than the way the Austrian meathead governed our state for the past several years? I don't think it is. If Whitman and Brown knew they needed to take that position to get elected they'd be saying the same thing. The laws have been lax for years and employers have been able to hire illegals with no repercussions. I reserve my venom for the California state legislature, not the illegal immigrants. Cheers
You should vote for her California. She's going to expose capitalism for what it really is.........LOL.....I couldn't keep a straight face typing that. She's cute, but that office requires someone with at least some experience. Activists don't belong in public office. They get to caught up in their own desires and forget about their constituency. I've seen it first hand.
Third Party Revolution would like to endorse Marylou Cabral in her campaign for California Secretary of State, along with many other third party and independent candidates seeking public offices nationwide, ranging from local to federal levels.
First she says that immigrants come here for economic reasons...
...then she says she's going to expose capitalism for what it really is.
What it really is is the REASON those "economic reasons" exist...

And none of what she said was relevant to the duties of secretary of state.
