I am really interested in these cars now but everytime I google information on them I read about how they cut corners in production, theyre basically a death trap if you get in a wreck, and the company had problem road testing their own vehicles because they would break down. :(
@sheffieldmvp These are very reliable cars that are affordible to run. We have had ours in the family since new with zero issues. Not sure what you are talking about.....why not call Pantera International or Hall Pantera if you are really interested.
I wouldnt go to toyota and ask why all their cars drive themselves. Their answer would be they don't. So I wouldnt go and ask a car company or club about its own cars. Of course theyre going to have only positive things to say. Maybe one day I will experience one myself. Lucky you to have one already. I'd love to be able to just test drive one.
@sheffieldmvp Went to the Wiki page on your recommendation. It said the first year car (71) was poorly built/bad fit and finish and broke down at Fords test track. It was their first year mating Ford power with an Italian exotic company....there will be issues.
Common sense would say to stay away from a 71'. Go for a 74' like I have where the ONLY issues were overheating. BTW I fixed it by reading a forum. Some car guys do help and the Pantera community is great. Only other issue is rust.

I sold mine a few years ago. One of very few ttrue GTS in Canada. Hade 5500 origonal miles on it at the time.
