  • I liked the video, but then I liked documentaries. I think the name is a bit goofy though, like microsoft using the "my ..." stuff.

  • I'm confused on why you are dropping the" Just $6". Re-branding seems counterproductive . Even as a caucasian over 50, I found the video too long and slow paced, with too much time spent on older white men talking.

  • 1. Just $6 was a more direct message, 2. Mounting a new campaign for U Street with Y on the sign makes no sense, 3. The video is boooring and amateurish. You need a new marketing group (if you have one).

  • Good luck guys.

  • Real change is all about changing the status quo -- and we have our job cut out for us with over 20 states having no public funding of state elections and some 20 states having NO limits on PAC contributions so we need not quarrel among ourselves! Just $6 has been successful in bringing us onboard so I applaud its change in name/approach in order to attract others. BO did the SMART thing-- although he supports our concept, if he had stayed with public funding this year, he may have lost!

  • I like YouStreet as a project of Just $6 but not as the new org replacing Just $6. Also agree there needs to be a youth rep and a shot of a rural community (where there are no streets, just roads) but it's a good video to introduce the project. Achieving public funding will take public support, it is a critical issue.

  • LAME! Your over thinking. Just $6 IS the perfect name and theme. You have now joined the ranks of automobile manufacturers that produce items people don't want because of marketing hacks that miss the mark. Thanks for relegating what I consider THE most important of the day to bandwagon marketing PR BULLSHIT!

  • I wonder if the guys interviewed in this piece have interest in technology corporations. I heard about 6 years ago from a valid source about the strategy that internet software companies are going to start using to sell products. They are going to use advertising methods which make people feel (the key word is "feel") like they are in control. I think we need to do more than just internet activism. It goes waaaay beyond that.

  • Where was this group when Obama shunned public financing and raised $600 million "off-book", and took major lobby money as a senator. How can we count on Obama to support this cause? Where is the outrage? Why should I believe this is anything other than guilt cleansing? Get REAL!!!

  • Did some cockamamy PR firm or ad agency talk you into this and then get a contract? You had a sellable brand, easy to understand and straight to the point.

    This is New Coke.

To bad you didn't ask anyone for comment before it was too late. Adios to a great idea.

  • What happened to the "just$6" tag? This video says nothing about the cost to the public for this publicly-funded concept. You need to add that. And I agree it is a little too long.

  • Excellent but not enough representation for people of color. Also, a bit long for those with short attention span. Still, excellent overall.

  • I think this video is great. Rudman, Simpson and Bradley are well respected, represent a spectrum of parties and political philosophies, and this is one thing on which they all agree. Well explained, and well done. Bravo!

  • It is too long

  • Old people talking. Video needs some young energy. Does not address engagement/success of Obama's small donors.

  • I hope you can really depend on Mr. Obama since his own fund raising is very questionable. I sincerely hope this investigated, this will help public funding I feel pretty sure. We don't need anymore hypocrits in power

  • An idea that needs to come to fruition to restore integrity in government. I'd be more than happy to pay $6 for this. It would be the best $6 I ever spent.
