  • that Jackhammer WAS one helluva display of strength! Perry Saturn was not a small man and despite nearly dropping him when he got him in position, Goldberg still pulled it off. That's all back strength. It's 13 years later and I still remember that Jackhammer specifically.

  • This match, despite the couple of apparently botched moves, was one of Goldberg's best pure wrestling matches.

  • well loked like hes gonna give fu

  • No one ever mentions it, but some Goldberg's best matches were with Saturn. I love Goldberg but admittedly some of his matches for whatever reason where just not that well put together. But his matches with Saturn, were long, lots of moves and really well paced for great endings.

  • Goldberg is the best wrestler ever, then The Rock. Stone Cold was ok but murdered tons of people with the stunner. Sting, Kevin Nash, & Others were alright.

  • I think Goldberg is about to hit the attitude adjustment at 4:27 lol.

  • wcw used perry alot better and dean malenko

  • @BlueSkyeReynolds That's how wrestling works: guys drop on the card to put the new main event guy over. Everyone can't stay at the same level...unless you work in TNA but they don't exactly care about actually being profitable. Taker, Hogan, Warrior, Goldberg, Muta, & Lesnar all prove that the invincible monster gimmick can work and get a guy to the top. Making a top star by jobbing out midcarders is well worth it because the star will then increase interest and draw money for the promotion.

  • @BlueSkyeReynolds So Hogan's superman comebacks were horrible for business? How about The Undertaker sitting up? Or The Great Muta no-selling a DDT? Like those guys Goldberg was portrayed as a monster and like those guys he was also a monster draw before bad booking killed WCW.

Saturn looked great in this match because he got more offense in on Goldberg than anyone up to that point. It's the context that matters. Bill's biggest problem was inexperience in longer matches.

  • @BlueSkyeReynolds sorry but I have no idea what you're talking about. Goldberg was insanely over at this time and I thought this match was very good. Goldberg needed more long matches like this before becoming world champ. This made Saturn look good as well because of how much offense he got in.

  • this is ANYTHING but high fucking quality you faggots

  • OooooHhhhh Maaaaaan

  • For those who dont know, Saturn was a member of the Eliminators in ECW... They had the most devastating finishing move in wrestling at one point called Total Elimination... Very very good wrestler.... ECW was the birthplace for alot of talent in WCW... Rey Jr, Chris Jericho, Benoit, Malenko, Eddie Guerrerro, Raven...and plenty more... Paul E. had a good thing but didnt do his thing right

  • Goldberg is a legend, hero of my childhood great warrior

  • I think Goldberg could have done a better job at making saturn look good during the swings of momentum that inevitably happen in longer matches. I mean, I know how much WCW was endorsing his undefeated streak, but I never felt like he was close to losing in this match.

  • @cmarisco Maybe cause you knew ahead of time he was gonna win when u clicked this vid.

  • I am surprised that goldberg never came into the ring with superstars like billy kidman, rey mysterio, chris benoit, eddie guerrero, dean malenko, jim neidhart, british bulldog and especially randy savage.

  • Good match, but Goldberg was kinda sloppy and ackward in a few spots.

  • I've always thought Goldberg's matches with Saturn were some of his best. Its matches like these that make me wish he had more instead of the 30 second matches. One of the best jackhammer endings too.

  • im suprised that the rematch between these two was on the "goldberg: whos next?" video instead of this match. this one i felt was a lot better and showed more of their moves n techniques.

  • 4:14-4:38

  • lol I forgot Saturn had hair

  • This match was one of my favorites.

  • No one's ever broken the rings of Saturn!! lol

  • This was a great match. The rematch with Saturn was also good. I enjoy these older matches of Goldberg b/c this is before he became the world champ and was still just an enigma.

  • yes, totally agree. In this match, i think saturn has lots of submission techniques, too bad goldberg is able to resist his submission moves.

  • No shit, Those two million Americans must be complete retards to watch TNA every week then. Too bad WWE sucks. but hey, they have dumb asses like you watch it.

  • The only time these days an opener has an intenstiy as this much are the X division matches.

  • TNA is a horrible excuse for a pro-wrestling organization. You are a moron.

  • This kind of match is what's missing from WWE.

Did you see Saturn do a frankensteiner on Goldberg? You don't see heavyweight wrestlers doing that! WCW and WWF in the late 90's was the golden age of wrestling!

  • late 90's were alright, early 90's and late 80's were much much better.

  • awesome match...lol

  • 3:35 WHATTTTT!!
