I teach my music students to do this kind of thing all the time. It's an excellent way to learn to feel a rhythmic accompliment and sing a melody at the same time. I hope this girl and those of you who can do this are not only impressing friends at parties but also applying this skill to learning piano, drums, or guitar. Maybe even body percussion. You'd be awesome!
