30DC Day 12 - Assessing Your Stats

None of my statistics are showing - Google Analytics shows people are viewing my website. Is there something I should do?

Even though I am new I did have to do the click and add as Guru Bob suggested.

Help please.

Impressions = Page views

Clicks = ?

Where do we see in Google Analytics how many clicks went thru the affiliate product promoted ?

Gee, do I feel dumb. I opened "Manage Accounts" in Market Samurai and had no problem setting it up to work with my Wordpress blog and I don't use Hostagator or WordPress Direct. Silly me! I should have assumed that was impossible before I did it.

I won't belabor this point for to long, but no, you are mistaken. Again, not paying attention to detail.

You can do a month to month with Hostgator

AND you can go and find either a coupon that will either give you the 1st month for a penny (that is right just 1 measley cen for 30 days of hosting) or a $25 coupon. Just do a Google search

My suggestion, stop worrying about what you cannot do and why it won't work and start thinking , how do I make it work for me?

ma90291, WPD cannot set up on my current cPanels so I'd have to buy hosting and a domain for 2 years first.

I can't get Word Press Direct. Is this ALL ABOUT Word Press Direct?

Am I going to be lost on this challenge just because Word Press Direct doesn't work without spending hundreds on a new host?

if you haven't figured it out yet, the 30DC people have most likely partnered with these 3rd party products ahead of time, rather than direct affliliate links. so you have to accept this but there is still lots of great info in the course.

you can do all this with regular old wordpress too

I believe you can get a subdomain at wordpress direct, you could also make a blog at wordpress . com, they will also let you use the seo plugin and such.

If you have a host, then just go to wordpress . org and download wordpress from there. You would miss out some small things as the url tracker, but that not make much difference, as you can find the tools other where.
