  • My teacher swears by these videos. She's got them linked on her website and is always pushing us to watch them. She even dedicated one of our Midterm review days to them! But I'm not complaining, these are incredibly helpful! You're a great teacher.

  • in my textbook it says that centrosomes are only in animal cells, but in the plant cell diagram you had at 8:30, it had a centrosome?

  • @Asianised centrosomes are in both, centrioles are not

  • Thank you very much for uploading this. I have learned quite a bit, and the presentation is excellent! I have been looking all over for a well organized cell diagram for both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, and this is the best so far! I will continue to browse your videos, and will recommend them to my professor as well. Again, thank you for your contribution!

    I'm a "new" teacher and have been wanting to do something like this for a while;but what I've done so far is just reference other's videos and encourage them to record their own for some projects...( you can look at the playlists on my profile to watch them)

    I'm curious... what software are you using?

    Oh, and, I was wondering...Can I use these for my students? or maybe just sent them the links.

    Feel free to use these videos however you see fit. That is one of the reasons I post them online.

    The software I use is called ScreenFlow. It is mac only but it is so good that is probably worth buying a macbook or imac just to use the software. You just push a button, start talking, push another button when you are done and you are finished. Editing is easy as well.
