@salaminow Well, he sort of is. Rank wise he's the third most senior officer aboard. He wouldn't actually be in line for the captaincy, (being a doctor, like you said) but if you just lined them all up by rank he'd be third.
@salaminow Technically he was a commander Scotty at the time was a LT wasn't he. IN the show I mean, not the movie. Any he was a Commander so he very could be but Doctors are usually left out of the chain of command unless the co says other wise, Sorry I'm in the Army.
