This song was a big hit when I was in college. We would go sking and rent a house for a weekend and ski all day and party at night. This song was one of many songs we partied to. Wonderful memories. Recently I had a reunion with many of my old friends and we went to a Kareoke place and sang this tune. We were young again for a few minutes !!! LOL. Love It !!!

@vbs327 Because he is German...and he recorded this song as a retelling od David Bowies version (who is British and not American) maybe if you looked outside the box you will realise that Americans are not the only ones in the world and just because you heard a song in your youth doesnt mean it was the first time it was ever recorded. do some research on google and you will learn that the world is not flat..
